Road side market while traveling from ilorin to Abeokuta / market Friday
Hi hivers,
Traveling and seeing roadside Market women selling there product can be so interesting because you don't have enough time to price and bargaining, the amount they called it for you is the amount you going to buy it or if she reduces it a bit for you which is very uncommon, and what caused this,is when someone is entering public transport, the drivers tends not to have enough patients because they want to go back to where we coming from once they drop us.
So they want to keep to Tim in other to meet up with the time, most times while buying some goods on the road, is either the market woman will not be able to give the customer his or her change due to rushing of the driver or the customer will collect goods and the driver zoom off without allowing the market woman to collect her money which is not intentional by the customer.
So as a road side market women, they rolled alot of risk, some times in the middle of trailers given you there product or running after it because they want to sell.
You must be strong to do that.
On my way from ilorin to Abeokuta, here I passed through odo-oba and is the place I snapped here, as you can see they selling different types of products but they have much yam and red oil.
As you can see, plantain, yam, vegetables, oranges 🍊 etc...
is

Hi @royalsam,
Great to see you using the #travelfeed tag! We launched the #travelfeed curated tag more than 3 years ago and have been supporting the best travel blogs on Hive ever since. But did you know that TravelFeed has evolved? Based on the feedback of thousands of Hive travel bloggers we created TravelFeed.io.
TravelFeed.io brings together all the benefits of Hive decentralized blogging with features that you as a travel blogger will love: Photo galleries, Instagram embeds, custom maps and more. We also offer many of the features you love on Peakd such as drafts and post scheduling. And if you want, you can even use our easy site builder to set up your own travel blog on your own domain which can be a great way to generate a passive income from your blog!
Unfortunately, focussing on developing the best platform for travelers means that we no longer curate the #travelfeed tag. But, you can log in with your Hive account on TravelFeed.io to publish your next travel post, and it will be posted to Hive automatically! Every day, we select the best posts and reward them with an upvote and added visibility.
We would love to see you on TravelFeed.io soon :)
I am very familiar with these markets. You take a risk buying from the car, don't you? They can run off with your change!
As a heads up, you should check your pictures so they can be orientated correctly. A few of them are fine if you explain them every few pictures, but hard to scroll through if you don't understand what you are looking at or the scenario. I get that it was the market, shot from the car.
Anyway, thanks for joining #MarketFriday!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
Take pictures! Be creative!
5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
