Oh you have reminded me that I want this for winter. I suppose it might be a little weird with shorts and bare feet. Maybe it will get cold enough to wear pants 🤓

I love coats and a tailored black wool coat is always a good choice. And Burberry too, I approve of this message!
Aha! I admit I hoped you might like it or find it amusing.
Years ago I tried a really nice cashmere wool one on at a store. I was wearing my usual outfit of shorts and it looked so funny standing in front of the mirror.
There's a story from the painter Franz Kline's wife of how when he was still an unknown artist he was saving money to get a coat and wanted a Burberry. He didn't think he could or should spend the money on it. She told he he had to get it because it felt like success. And it was! I still hope to get one someday.
Dress for success! I really do believe that works because when you wear a good outfit, you stand and walk with poise and confidence and in turn people will respect you more. Looks do matter and I always feel sooooo much better when I’m put together instead of ugly sweats and a messy bun.
When I put that coat on I felt sooooo good! my entire body came alive and just felt fantastic.
