My Last Perform With Melancholia Band in Farewell Event

Holaa My Hivers Fams! 🤗
Today i want to share my music stories about my last perform on farewell event in my school with my band, namely Melancholia Band to all of my hivers fams 😊

Every meeting there will be a moment of farewell, this also happened to our band for 3 years together finally our band had to part at our last performance at the school farewell party. Of course, sad mixed with joy into one, considering the band that we have built for 3 years during school has participated in various events and competitions and there are many stories in it ranging from sad and happy or losing or winning we enjoy it all together.

At that time we had graduated from high school and the school farewell event began, our band was chosen to perform at the event as well as a farewell event for all of us because our band personnel will continue their education in different places so this is the last Melancholia Band performance.

At this farewell event, we were given the opportunity to sing 2 songs, so we chose the song Sheila On 7 which is a very popular band in Indonesia at that time with pop genre music and songs that are suitable for us to bring with this farewell moment. The songs that we bring are entitled "OURS" and "Classic Stories for the Future" where this song tells about all the stories that existed at school and togetherness with all friends, best friends, teachers at school. One more song tells that the story of the school period will always be the best moment for us and we can remember it as a classic story in the future.

When performing on stage, i was very carried away with the lyrics and the rhythm of the music even though while playing bass guitar during the performance, i felt sad and emotional when i was thinking about to part with all my school friends and remember that this moment is the last time for me and all band personnel to perform as a Melancholia band.

I think all members of the Melancholia band feel the same way as i do, not even a few of the audience were moved because the song we performed was very relevant to this farewell moment. We all believe that separation is not the end of everything but a new beginning of a life so that in the future we can remembered this beautiful moment together.

After finishing our performance, we enjoyed the farewell ceremony and didn't forget to capture the moment together. The good news is that after several years of being apart. At Eid Mubarak this year we are planning to gather together at an acoustic cafe in our local town and perform there.
