Hello, thank you for doing the giveaway. I started playing Splinterlands yesterday, and only have used Coinbase to buy BTC. So, I am learning about everything that is possible and still have no clue how to do much of anything. A pool sounds interesting but, I do not know how to join one, what they are, or have HIVE funds to do it. I will have to do some research for the next time around. They sound interesting.

I have just learned about the pool and I will try to learn more before looking to join into one. I still hope there will be enough left for the ones who will not join a pool.

I received 3-4 pack from Vouchers, so I will have a chance for airdrops, as I invested into SPS before the voucher systems started, so I don't plan to join any pool. I hear ppl talkin about pools of 100.000 USD, but I don't thinks a lot of such pools would exist. 15.000.000 packs will be sold for around 3 USD * 15.000.000 = 45.000.000 USD costs at least, that is a lot of money. So I do hope there will be something left for me as well :)

As a newcomer, I think we don't have a choice but to look into it even if it's only to buy a small amount. :D

I'm not interested in participating in Pools based on 2 primary reasons: Principal and Math. Aside from the fact that I don't want to support this behavior from the Devs, I also don't think participating in them is necessary. Even if all 9 of the large guilds in discussion purchase $1M worth of packs we are only talking 2.25M packs. That leaves just under 10M packs for general sale. I know there has been a lot of FOMO lately but that is all it really is, fear. There isn't anything real here that leads me to believe packs are going to instantly sell out that would drive me to give money to someone I've never met in person that has very little reason not to take my money and run.

I personally dislike the fact that these private sales are going through at the front of the line. At the rate Aggroed is alluding to, these private sales are likely to burn through 1 possibly 2 of the airdrop cards which means they will more or less have cornered the market on them. I think this is a massive disserve to the community that has been loyal so far.

Yh, I am considering joining a pool for for the general sale of the expansion, although I don't know if I can with just buying ~10–20 CL packs. I'm now trying to research which pools are hosted by trusted members of the community.

I will not participate in this pre-sales, based on vouchers, although missing drops. I just cannot afford it in a reasonable way

I don't think I'll participate in a pool, just does not feel right. I'll hope that I'll be able to snatch some packs in the general public sale.

Oh wow, Wavesmith is quite the card to giveaway!
As for pools, I don't think the packs will sell out THAT fast, so I don't feel very pressured, but might do it just for the discount if there is a trustworthy pool going on that accepts small investments like a few hundred bucks.

Pools just don't sit right with me. Maybe I just don't trust the world enough to believe I will see anything from it. The airdrop rewards are tempting but I am getting adjusted to the fact that all this dribble rewards are 99% letdown unless you have serious skin in the game. Just focusing on having fun with some fun cards and grabbing a few to keep building and staying competitive.

Wavesmith would be a great addition to that! I have been renting a Wavesmith since starting the game recently and would agree it's a great early card.

Not really into preorder pools. I'd rather wait out and see the good cards before buying in the market.

I don't think I'll participate in a pool. It just feels weird and I don't like the idea.
I will be focusing buying cards on the market and hope there will be some leftover packs.

I'm a hard no on pools. If I am going to spend the energy and money to put together my resources to get the packs then I want to also get the airdrop chance. The savings isn't worth enough to me to give up that gamble I guess.

@squishna. Thanks. The whole roll out is frustrating. If this is modeled after a card game, why not make it simple like an analog card game. The packs cost what they cost and are available to everyone. Thanks for the giveaway.
