El mejor plan/ The best plan 😍💗

Hello chicos! Qué tal su día? Hace ya dos domingos que se estuvo celebrando el día de las madres, y hoy me di cuenta que no había documentado en mi blog una salida en familia el día antes, y es que ya saben que no me gustan las aglomeraciones de personas, por lo que en días festivos no suelo salir de casa, ya que todo es un completo caos.

En vista de esto decidimos tomar el sábado para salir y disfrutar un poco recorriendo algunas de mis tiendas favoritas y comprando algunas cositas que estaba necesitando, pero entre todas las cosas que hicimos ese día, la mejor parte fueron los helados, y es que aunque ya habíamos comido, siempre hay un lugarcito extra para un dulcito, así que cuando veníamos de regreso a casa, al pasar frente al supermercado Rattan nos recordamos de sus deliciosas barquillas y sin dudar nos detuvimos a disfrutar de un tiempo especial con mis personas favoritas.

Lo genial de todo, es que esta vez no tuvimos que cruzar hasta la plaza para disfrutar de nuestras barquillas, sino que en cuanto nos entregaron los helados nos sentamos en el área especial al aire libre que habilitó Rattan para este fin.

Conversamos un poco, disfrutamos de la brisa fresca y nos comimos unas barquillas de chocolate y mantecado que como de costumbre estaban deliciosas. Pero no se crean que esa fue toda la celebración del día de la madre, porque el domingo disfrutamos de una tarde de parrilla y juegos de mesa con mis niños (no tan niños) y mi esposo. Sin dudas el mejor plan!

Hello everyone! How’s your day going? It’s been two Sundays since Mother’s Day, and today I realised I hadn’t posted anything on my blog about the family outing we had the day before. As you know, I don’t like crowds, so on public holidays I don’t usually leave the house, as everything’s complete chaos.

With that in mind, we decided to take Saturday off to go out and enjoy ourselves a bit, visiting some of my favourite shops and buying a few bits and bobs I needed. But of all the things we did that day, the best part was the ice cream, because even though we’d already eaten, there’s always a little extra room for a sweet treat. So, as we were heading back home and passed the Rattan supermarket, we remembered their delicious ice cream cones and, without a second thought, we stopped to enjoy some special time with my favourite people.

The best part of it all is that this time we didn’t have to walk all the way to the square to enjoy our ice creams; instead, as soon as we were handed our ice creams, we sat down in the special outdoor area that Rattan had set up for this very purpose.

We chatted for a while, enjoyed the cool breeze and tucked into some chocolate and butter wafer cones, which, as usual, were delicious. But don’t think that was the extent of our Mother’s Day celebrations, because on Sunday we enjoyed an afternoon of barbecues and board games with my (not-so-little) children and my husband. Without a doubt, the best way to spend the day!
