Chaos Legion presale has ended but general sale 1.0 is just around the corner. In four short days we all can get back to pack purchasing. In the meantime we need something to feed our Splinterlands addiction. If you are new to Splinterlands you might not of got the chance to experience the thrill of opening up booster packs. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some of these new cards. A few of the new abilities sound really great. I can't wait to drop Mangor with a single hit using Giant Killer ability!
I suspect many have that same thought.
I'm curious to see how the old guard (Alpha+Beta) cards stack up against Chaos.
We need a Giant Killer achievement. But serious. The game says "Coming soon" for "Achievements" in the profile.
By the way, I am currently in the Bronze III League. I do not know why the game says "Unranked" in the profile.
Achievements have been "coming soon" since they were announced almost 3 years ago. From the last couple AMAs, I think they should remove the word "soon". Ranked is broken since mine shows unranked also.
I am playing Steem Monsters/Splinterlands since 2018.12.30, but I have not noticed the "Achievements coming soon" until 1 year or 2 years ago.
I know there will be two different types of battles: our current system and the chaos legion. Do you know if the chaos legion one will allow us to mix in the current cards or will select cards be removed?

The new rewards league is planned to be called modern. It will include UNTAMED + Chaos Legion + Newer Reward cards. The current league will be renamed to Wild and all cards will be playable in it.

I agree, I think they are going to fun to use.
With these new skills the fights are going to be more competitive @rentmoney.
It will be interesting to see how they stack up against other monsters.
I think Splinterlans is going to go to another level ! with Chaos cards.

I don't think anyone can give you the answer to that question (everyone will have a different preference). I will say that its always best to level your summoner first.
All the three new skills - so DAMN badass! :D
Giant Killer would be a game changing skill though~
