The location you are seeing in the video was a marketplace before during the 18th century and was known as a market square. Big trade fair used to happen here and people from different countries used to come here to the fair. Later this square was named after St. Nicolas Cathedral and people used to call it Nikolayevska Square. After the demolishing of Nicolas Cathedral, the square became Soviet Union square and later Constitution Square which is the present name.

This square is really beautiful, so many historical buildings and histories are lying here. The historical museum represents the history of this square and some elements of the square are still preserved in the museum. Still, now this square is considered a trade and administrative square. In the video, you will see the age of the buildings, architecture, streets, and much more...

The architecture and outlook of the square had been built here over three centuries and some buildings had been demolished during the war.
