Hello, very good morning to everyone. I am a geography teacher and I am currently pursuing my degree in Cuba, my home country. I want to share with you my first post in this beautiful community. As such, I am dedicated to music, but I had not discovered such an excellent community to share my ideas about this great subject before. So, without further ado, let's get started.

Wow its a beautiful place you have. The famous beach I know the maldives its very blue-green seas. Love the cleanest water and so breathtakingly pictues.

So, all of the info in your post is from YOU as the scientific source...? You actually went there and counted the islands, and measured the height of them with a surveyor's transit? You took a botanist and geologist with you to confirm the coral structure of the islands? If not, then you are not the source of your information, and that source should be properly credited. As a teacher, by profession, you should know that.

Failing to source your information properly — yet, boldly including yourself in the bibliography without any credible peer-reviewed work you have written — is my primary reason for downvoting this post.

Additionally, Pinterest and Google collect pictures from all over the Internet, just as a library collects books from publishers all over the globe. If you want to use a quote from a book, then it is necessary to credit the author's name and specific book where the quote appeared, not just say: "Quote from some book I found in the library." Yet, when you say pics are from Pinterest or Google, that is exactly what you are doing. Start with pics you find on Pinterest & Google, then click the link to go to the website where those pics first appeared, and double-check that they are copyright free and legal to include in a post on Hive. Disclaimers of such usually appear in the "Legal Notices" at the bottom of the webpage. Doing this will keep your account and the Hive blockchain in the clear!

I wish you well on Hive, truly I do. But to succeed here requires honestly and giving credit where credit is due.

YES! State the title of the book and the author's name, at least, as you would do for an essay in university studies ~or~ give a link to the webpage where you learned the information. Look at the bottoms of my posts to see my "SOURCES" section, if you'd like examples. I also use superscripts like [2] and [3] to mark specific quotes and info, just like encyclopedias do. Your style may vary, but the sources of info should be clear, either way.
