Propagating my Millionaire plant (Eng/Esp)
Greetings, friends of this community of plant and gardening enthusiasts.

My daughter brought home a Millionaire Plant (Zamioculcas zamiiflolia) that eventually outgrew its pot. It had multiplied and had several shoots with leaves. The roots were tangled together.
One morning, I told myself I couldn't wait any longer because some of the leaves were yellow. So, I set out to separate them and transplant them into other pots.

I had already prepared some compost with vegetable scraps from the kitchen (potato, carrot, taro, banana, cassava, yam, and eggshells), dry leaves, and soil that I collected from a park near my house.

I had left it to decompose for two months, stirring and watering it frequently. I checked to see if it was ready. It no longer had the smell of decomposing organic material, the color was dark, and the texture was loose. I emptied it onto a plastic sheet and, upon inspection, I could see earthworms and some insects, such as small beetles, which help with decomposition.
Once the compost was ready, I mixed it with soil and filled the pots.

When I removed the millionaire plant, I separated five shoots. It has an underground stem with buds, which is how it reproduces. I did this with a sharp knife, carefully separating the roots so as not to break them. And these are thick and succulent.

Place each of the plants in their pots and water them. Now, after several months, they are beautiful, with very shiny leaves.

After transplanting, the mother plant began to dry out and then dried up completely. This can occur in nature in plants that propagate vegetatively.
My daughter gave one of these plants to a friend who wanted one, and this plant is in high demand in my country because there is a popular belief, hence its name Millonaria (Millionaire), that it attracts money and prosperity, and it is very common to see it in front of businesses. They also call it the money plant.
My plants are doing very well, and I keep them on the balcony, on the windowsills in the bedrooms, and in the living room. I can see that they like the sun, but when it is very strong, their leaves tend to close to protect themselves. They have also flowered and developed new roots and leaves. If they continue like this, I think I will have to find a larger space to plant them.

Their ability to adapt and multiply is wonderful. Plants have mechanisms that make this ability very efficient depending on the environmental conditions to which they have adapted. This can be through sexual seeds, vegetatively, or both.

I heard this name first time millionaire and i don't know, I can fine it in my country or not. Fertilizer compost that you're using is beneficial.

Hello, @Amjadsharif
You may find it under another name. It is a plant native to Africa, but it has adapted very well to many places.
Thank you very much for your comment.
Have a happy and blessed day.
They grow fast, especially when the soil is always moist. I really like their leaves, especially when they’re newly sprouted. They also love sunlight.
That's right, the leaves are very shiny and the new ones are a lighter green.
I love them too.
Thank you @jazlove for your comment, and have a great day! 🌿🌸
Your welcome friend...stay blessed.
Amén 🙏

How nice, that with the vegetable scraps♻, you have harvested compost, very positive, that it has earthworms. The zamioculca is very common for being a fortune charm. Greetings 😍👍🌱
Hello @multifacetas
Thank you very much for your comment. That's right, but I don't know where this belief comes from, although I think all plants have wonderful energy.
Best regards and have a nice day.
