Who I am?

I am Pedro Rodriguez, I was born and raised in Venezuela, specifically in a city called La Victoria, Aragua State, I was born on November 29, 1993 and at this time I am 28 years old. I come from a small and dysfunctional family, thanks to my paternal grandmother Elba I am who I am at this moment and I am here to tell you about who I am, my life and what I do.

¿Quién Soy?
Soy Pedro Rodriguez, nací y crecí en Venezuela, específicamente en una ciudad llamada La Victoria, Estado Aragua, nací el 29 de noviembre de 1993 y en este momento tengo 28 años. Vengo de una familia pequeña y disfuncional, gracias a mi abuela paterna Elba soy quien soy en este momento y estoy aquí para contarles sobre quien soy, mi vida y a que me dedico.

My memory is chaos, but I remember my life from the age of 8 more or less, when my father gave me two albums, one was by the Spanish rock band called “Jarabe de Palo” and an Argentine band called “La Mosca”. From that moment when I listened to their songs, I really wanted to sing and play an instrument like them and I realized with the passing of the years that I wanted to be a musician, I saved for years, since whenever I had money I spent it on PC games to spend the time until I buy my first guitar, I was a freetmaster strat for apprentices, I started studying music in a school called "Primo Casale" but I did not feel that there I was learning what I needed or just what I wanted, so I started learning On my own, I was never good anymore, however, if I could make music, the years went by and when I was 16 I formed my first band.

Mi memoria es un caos, pero recuerdo mi vida desde los 8 años más o menos, cuando mi padre me regalo dos discos, uno era de la banda de rock Española llamada “Jarabe de Palo” y una banda Argentina llamada “La Mosca”, desde ese momento cuando escuchaba sus canciones sentía muchísimas ganas de cantar y tocar algún instrumento como ellos y me di cuenta con el pasar de los años que quería ser músico, ahorre durante años, ya que siempre que tenía dinero lo gastaba en juegos de PC para pasar el tiempo hasta que compre mi primera guitarra, era una freetmaster estratocaster para aprendices, comencé a estudiar música en una escuela llamada “Primo Casale” pero no sentía que allí estaba aprendiendo lo que necesitaba o simplemente lo que quería, así que comencé a aprender por mi cuenta, nunca fui bueno más, sin embargo, si pude hacer música, pasaron los años y cuando tenía 16 forme mi primera banda.

This band was called "A Thousand Endings", it was curious how we formed the band, since I accompanied a friend to his first rehearsal and as the guitarist was sleepy he left so I learned his song and I stayed as her guitarist , we rehearsed every day, I had no money so I walked about 4 kilometers with my guitar and the amplifier to rehearse, we played a couple of times until the problems started, we decided to abandon the project, however, not the songs so we decided to continue some and change the name of the band, now we were “Martyrs”, we met with a couple of new friends and began to exchange ideas, talk about tastes and material that we had and thus we managed to make several songs, but it was something that lasted very little At this point in my life I was entering a crossroads where I had to make decisions for my future.

Esta banda se llamaba “A Thousand Endings”, fue curioso como formamos la banda, ya que yo acompañe a un amigo a su primer ensayo y como el guitarrista tenía sueño se fue así que me aprendí su canción y me quede yo como guitarrista de ella, ensayábamos todos los días, no tenía dinero así que caminaba unos 4 kilómetros con mi guitarra y el amplificador para ensayar, tocamos un par de veces hasta que comenzaron los problemas, decidimos abandonar el proyecto, sin embargo, no las canciones así que decidimos seguir algunos y cambiar el nombre de la banda, ahora éramos “Martyrs”, nos reunimos con un par de nuevos amigos y comenzamos a intercambiar ideas, hablar de gustos y material que teníamos y así logramos hacer varias canciones, pero fue algo que duro muy poco, en este punto de mi vida entraba en una encrucijada donde tenía que tomar decisiones para mi futuro.

Since I was little I always wanted to be like my father, an engineer and construction and plans always caught my attention, so I wanted to study civil engineering, there was a problem, I never had good grades, very complicated, I left young from High school, I was 15 years old and at 18 I had not yet entered a university, I had been waiting for 3 years to see if there was an opportunity and it was not this way, it is when I find myself at this crossroads and I decide to leave engineering to a side and I look for my second option, Graphic Arts ...

Desde pequeño siempre quise ser como mi padre, un ingeniero y siempre me llamo mucho la atención la construcción y los planos, así que quería si o si estudiar Ingeniería civil, había un problema, nunca fui de buenas notas, muy complicado, Salí joven de la secundaria, tenía 15 años y con 18 años aún no había ingresado a alguna universidad, tenía 3 años esperando a ver si se daba alguna oportunidad y no fue de esta manera, es cuando me encuentro en esta encrucijada y decido dejar la ingeniería a un lado y busco mi segunda opción, Artes Gráficas...

One day I was traveling 14 hours from my house to the place where my father lived with his wife and my two brothers. He told me, “Son, you have been waiting for 3 years to study, you should not waste any more time, because later it will be more difficult. , make a decision, choose another career or study at a private university ”I sat there thinking about what to do with my life, so I thought,“ the truth is that engineering is something that I wanted with all my heart, but it is something that happens over the years I have lost affection for him, I have always been interested in audiovisuals, art and those things, it would be good to try ”so I went with my dad and said“ man, I want to study graphic design ”4 days later I returned to my house and I began to investigate what I needed and how much it cost to study this career, but my mother did not want to be against it because she believed that it was a career for mediocre people, but I was always very detached from what they wanted for me, I always decided for myself life and for what I wanted so my dad trusted me I financed the first semester and I began to study, since as I had said my band at that time no longer existed, I was without someone to make music, I had new friends and one day I decided to buy a 7-string guitar, a Shecter Omen C-7 special edition, I was very economical and that was how they gave me the opportunity to join a band called “El Hijo De Sam”. It was the best musical experience in my life, we made new music, we traveled to play in distant places, we got together and many more things until that the drummer decides to leave and that is when my musical life fell apart, I lost motivation, my guitar was on one side and I was only dedicating myself to my studies, I learned screen printing, video, illustration and many more things, I took love to my university career and it is what has made me reach this point in my life.

Un día estaba de viaje a 14 horas de mi casa lugar donde vivía mi papá con su esposa y mis dos hermanos él me dijo, “Hijo, tienes 3 años esperando para estudiar, no debes perder más el tiempo, ya que luego será más difícil, toma una decisión, escoge otra carrera o estudia en una universidad privada” yo me quede sentado pensando que hacer con mi vida, así que pensé, “la verdad la ingeniería es algo que quería con todo mi corazón, pero es algo que al pasar de los años le he perdido el cariño, siempre me he interesado por lo audiovisual, el arte y esas cosas, sería bueno intentarlo” así que fui con mi papá y le dije “viejo, quiero estudiar diseño gráfico” a los 4 días regrese a mi casa y comencé a investigar que necesitaba y cuanto costaba estudiar esta carrera, pero mi madre no quería estaba en contra porque ella creía que era una carrera para mediocres, pero siempre fui muy despegado de lo que ellos querían para mí, siempre decidí por mi vida y por lo que yo quería así que mi papá me financió el primer semestre y comencé a estudiar, ya como había dicho mi banda en ese momento ya no existía, estaba sin quien hacer música, tenía nuevos amigos y un día decidí comprarme una guitarra 7 cuerdas, una Shecter Omen C-7 edición especial, estaba muy económica y fue así como me dieron la oportunidad de entrar en una banda llamada “El Hijo De Sam” fue la mejor experiencia musical en mi vida, hicimos nueva música, viajamos a tocar a lugares lejanos, nos reuníamos y muchas cosas más hasta que el Baterista decide irse y es allí cuando mi vida musical se vino abajo, perdí la motivación, mi guitarra estaba a un lado y solo me dedicaba a mis estudios, aprendí de serigrafía, de video, ilustración y muchas cosas más, le tome amor a mi carrera universitaria y es lo que me ha hecho llegar hasta este punto de mi vida.

Currently, I decide to design advertising, illustration, audiovisuals and some other things, all freelance, but I want to start in Cryptoarte, I have many ideas and I do not know where to start, the good thing is that I am polishing details with virtual courses, remember the drummer What do I know came out of the last band I belonged to and therefore I put music aside? Thanks to him I met Hive, he is @dynalav and I decided to be here to tell you more about myself and publish my projects as a means of motivation both for myself and for some of the more present on the platform.

Actualmente, me decido al diseño publicitario, ilustración, audiovisuales y algunas cosas más, todo freelance, pero quiero emprender en el Cryptoarte, tengo muchas ideas y no sé por dónde comenzar, lo bueno es que estoy puliendo detalles con cursos virtuales, recuerdan el baterista que sé salió de la última banda a la que pertenecí y por ende dejé la música a un lado? Gracias a él conocí Hive él es @dynalav y decidí estar aquí para contarles más sobre mí y publicar mis proyectos como un medio de motivación tanto para mí como para algunas personas más presentes en la plataforma.
