It is Day 896 since I started counting on that Friday more than two years ago that the #Quarantine was announced in #Venezuela due to the #Covid-19 #pandemic. Today is a day with multiple commemorations and celebrations, among them, to record my day, I selected one that has a great touch of tenderness and that awakens a multitude of good memories:

Today is International Dog Day, a date established in 2004 by the World Health Organization, the #WHO, to raise awareness about the abandonment and adoption of street #dogs. These abandoned pets are a propitious vector for various diseases and their adoption, care and sterilization can have a positive impact on the quality of Public Health, in addition to also collaborating with the mental health of people, after all there are two phrases that come to mind in my memory:

  • "Everything gets better with a #puppy." At least, the most normal thing is that they awaken some tenderness and affection.
  • "We all need a hug and an unconditional helping hand sometimes, even better if it's a paw." It is often said that our dogs see us as the best, so it is always a good north to try to be someone as good as your dog thinks you are.
Anyway, it seems like a good day to celebrate, I know that there are also people who are more into cats than dogs, but for them there is also another day, besides, personally, I used to have both pets and loved them very much to each one.

Well, I already hear the sky and its thunder, another tropical storm is coming, I think on the radio they say that it is number 36 of this rainy season, anyway, I must publish before I run out of electricity. I wish you well, that you have a furry #love in your life, and that we can read each other another time.

Es el Día 896 desde que inicié el conteo en aquel viernes de hace más de dos años que en #Venezuela se anunció la #Cuarentena por la #pandemia de #Covid19. Hoy esa un día con múltiples conmemoraciones y celebraciones, de entre ellas, para hacer el registro de mi día, seleccioné una que tiene un gran toque de ternura y que me despierta una multitud de buenos recuerdos:

Hoy es el Día Internacional del Perro, una fecha instaurada en 2004 por la Organización Mundial de la Salud, la #OMS, para crear conciencia sobre el abandono y adopción de perros en situación de calle. Estas #mascotas abandonadas son un vector propicio para diversas enfermedades y su adopción, cuidado y esterilización puede incidir positivamente sobre la calidad de la Salud Pública, además de que también colaboran con la #salud mental de las personas, después de todo hay dos frases que viene a mi memoria:

  • "Todo mejora con un cachorro." Cuando menos lo más normal es que despierten algo de ternura y cariño.
  • "Todos necesitamos en ocasiones un abrazó y una incondicional mano amiga, incluso mejor si es una pata." Se suele decir que nuestros perros nos ven como lo máximo, así que siempre es un buen norte el tratar de ser alguien tan bueno como tu perro cree que eres.
En fin, que me parece un buen día para celebrar, sé que también hay gente que es más de gatos que de perros, pero para ellos también hay otro día, además, en lo personal, yo solía tener de ambas mascotas y las quise mucho a cada una.

Bien, ya escucho el cielo y sus truenos, viene otro coletazo de la tormenta tropical, creo que en la radio dicen que es la número 36 de esta temporada de lluvia, en fin, debo publicar antes de quedarme sin electricidad. Te deseo que estés bien, que tengas un #amor peludo en tu vida y que nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
