A lonely life
That of rejection
By family members and close friends
Rejected and ejected

I live in misery
In a tent I call my home
A territory where no one can access
No one cared to though

I live in misery and fright
In the dwelling of crickets and birds
Hearing them sing all day long

A lonely life
A depressed life
A life with no one around
Just my little amiable Vexy

That's her name
Vexy- the family I've never had
Vexy- the friends I've never kept
She became the breadwinner
Hunting rodents for our meal

She counseled me
Just with the look on her face
She encouraged me by mewing to my ears
She cried with me, tears tickling down the cheeks

I've always adored a part of me
A part I'll never want to despise
That part is Vexy
That part is just more than a pet
