Jurassic Day / Jurassic Günü ( EN-TR)

On Saturday afternoon, my daughter and a dear friend decided to take a little trip back in time to see extinct animals. Our destination was the village of Göynük, surrounded by nature, in the Kemer district of Antalya. We had arrived at Dinopark, one of the most beautiful playgrounds in this village.

Cumartesi öğleden sonra, kızım ve çok sevdiğim bir arkadaşımla nesilleri tükenmiş havyanları görmek için küçük bir zaman yolculuğuna çıkmaya karar verdik. Rotamız Antalya'nın Kemer ilçesine bağlı doğa ile iç içe olan Göynük kasabasıydı. Bu kasabanın en güzel oyun alanlarından biri olan Dinopark'a gelmiştik.

From the moment we stepped through the entrance gate, we realized this was no ordinary park. There was an entrance fee to the park. The fee for visiting the park was 500 TL per person. Children under 6 years old were free. As soon as we entered, it was immediately clear that this was not just a playground. The enormous dinosaur at the entrance was clear proof of this.

Daha giriş kapısından adımımızı içeri attığımız andan itibaren buranın sıradan bir park olmadığının farkına varmıştık. Parka girişler ücretliydi. Park gezisi için kişi başı 500 TL ücret alınıyor. 6 yaş küçük çocuklar için ücret alınmıyor. İçeri girdiğimizde buranın sadece bir oyun parkı olmadığı hemen anlaşılıyordu. Girişte yer alan devasa boyuttaki dinazor bunun açık bir kanıtıydı.

This park resembled a vast discovery area that introduced people to nature and combined it with adventure. Built on a large forested area, the park offered children, especially young ones, entirely new adventures in their imagination. We adults, meanwhile, were refreshing our childhood memories here.

Bu park insanları doğayla tanıştıran , maceralarla birleştiren büyük bir keşif alanına benziyordu. Geniş bir ormanlık alan üzerine kurulan park, özellikle küçük çocukların hayal dünyasında onlara yepyeni maceralar yaşatıyordu. Biz yetişkinler ise, küçüklüğümüzde yaşadığımız çocukluk anılarımızı burada tazeliyorduk.

Some visuals depicting the stages of dinosaurs' evolution have been displayed within the park. Along the walking paths, visual and written information panels provide detailed information about the bone structures, species, and periods in which dinosaurs lived, offering visitors an educational discovery opportunity. There are walking routes that branch off to the right and left within the park. As we walk along these narrow, dirt and stone paths, we see different types of dinosaurs seemingly hidden among the plants, trees, and grass. Walking along the dirt path, we encounter a different type of dinosaur around every bend.

Parkın içinde dinazorların geçirdiği evreleri anlatan bazı görseller tanıtılmaya çalışılmış. Yürüyüş yolları boyunca yer alan görsel ve yazılı bilgilendirme panolarında, dinazorların kemik yapıları, türleri ve yaşadıkları dönemler hakkında deyatlı bilgi verilerek, gelen ziyaretçilere öğreti bir keşif imkanı sunuyorlar. Parkın içinde sağa ve sola açılan yürüyüş rotaları var. Bu topraklı ve taşlı dar yürüyüş yollarında ilerlerken bitkilerin ağaçların ve otların arasında sanki gizlenmiş gibi duran dinazor çeşitlerini görüyoruz. Topraklı yolda yürürken her virajı döndüğümüzde bizi farklı türde dinazor karşılıyor.

All the model dinosaurs seemed to come from the lands where they once lived, bringing the image of ancient times to life for us. Moreover, not only visually, but thanks to the sound effects, the sounds made by the dinosaurs echoed through the forest. My daughter was a little scared by the sounds of one or two dinosaurs. Even though we told her they were models, the scary sounds they made frightened her a little. Frankly, the visuals and sound effects made the environment feel quite realistic. My daughter's excitement and happiness were evident in her face and eyes every time she saw a new dinosaur.

Maket dinazorların hepsi geçmişte yaşadıkları topraklardan gelmiş gibi, bize eski çağların görüntüsünü yaşatır gibiydiler. Üstelik sadece görsel olarak değil, yapılan seslendirmeler sayesinde, dinazorların çıkardığı sesler ormanın içinde yankılanıyordu. Kızım bir iki dinazorun seslendirmesinde biraz korktu. Maket olduğunu söylemiş olmamıza rağmen çıkardığı o ürkütücü ses onu biraz korkuttu. Açıkçası görsellik ve seslendirme sayesinde ortamı oldukça gerçekçi bir hale getirmişler. Kızımın her yeni dinazoru gördüğünde yüzündeki heyecan ve gözündeki mutlulukta belirginleşiyordu.

Some dinosaurs were enormous in size, as if they reached up to the sky. They stood there in the forest, among the bushes, as if they might come to life and start walking at any moment. We stopped in front of almost every dinosaur and took pictures. We touched them and learned about them from the information boards. Dinosaurs were animals belonging to the subclass known as archosaurs, which are part of the reptile class. They lived during a time known as the Mesozoic era. They generally lived in South and North America, as well as in China and India. It says they lived 65 million years ago.

Bazı dinazorların boyutları devasa bir büyüklükte olup, sanki gökyüzüne kadar uzanıyor gibiydi. Her an canlanıp, yürümeye başlayacak gibi ormanın içinde çalılıkların arasında öylece bekliyorlardı. Hemen hemen her dinazorun önünde durup resimler çektik. Onlara dokunduk, panolardan hakkında bilgi sahibi olduk. Dinazorlar, sürüngenler sınıfında yer alan ve arkozorlar olarak bilinen alt sınıfa ait hayvanlarmış. Mezozoik çağ olarak bilinen bir zamanda yaşamışlar. Genel olarak Güney ve Kuzey Amerika ile Çin ve Hindistan bölgelerinde yaşamışlar. Yaşadığı dönem ise, 65 miyon önce olduğu yazıyor.

This adventurous concept, which combines nature walks with fun and a glimpse into past eras, made us very happy. The fresh air of the forest, the sounds of children playing and laughing all around created a delightful atmosphere. We tried to pose under some large dinosaurs. We were walking through the forest, among different plant species in the famous orange-scented nature of the Mediterranean, seeing and examining different types of dinosaurs. Being among the life-size shapes of dinosaurs that became extinct millions of years ago in the forest and hearing their sounds gives one great pleasure.

Doğada yürüyüş ile eğlenceyi ve geçmiş çağları bir araya getiren bu meceralı konsept, bizi çok mutlu etmişti. Ormanın temiz havası, etrafta duyulan çocuk sesleri ve kahkahalar hepsi bi araya gelince keyifli bir ortam oluşuyordu. Bazı büyük dinazorların altından geçerek poz vermeye çalıştık. Ormanın içi Akdeniz'in o meşhur portakal kokulu doğasında birbirinden farklı bitki çeşitleri arasında farklı dinazor türlerini görerek ve inceleyerek geziyorduk. Milyonlarca yıl önce nesli tükenmiş dinazorların, ormanın içinde gerçek boyutlarını yansıtan şekilleri arasında olmak ve onların seslerini duymak insana büyük bir keyif veriyor.

While walking around Dinapark, the paths lead to different play areas designed for children. On the way to these areas, we saw a pen with peacocks on the side. Colorful peacocks were scattered around the pen. The peacock spreading its tail looked so beautiful and colorful that we spent some time observing the birds.

Dinaparkın içinde dolaşırken, yürüyüş yolları çocuklar için hazırlanmış farklı oyun alanlarına da gidiyor. Bu alanlara doğru giderken kenarda tavus kuşlarının olduğu bir kümeslik gördük. Birbirinden renkli tavus kuşları dağınık bir şekilde kümesin etrafında dağılmışlardı. Kuyruğunu açan tavus kuşu o kadar güzel ve renkli görünüyordu ki; bir süre kuşları inceledik.

What caught our attention most in the forest was the bone structure of the dinosaurs. At one point, we stood beneath the bone structure of a large dinosaur. Standing beneath this enormous bone structure, one inevitably gains a better understanding of just how large the dinosaurs of the past were. It's astonishing to imagine how powerful and majestic these creatures, which lived millions of years ago, must have been. The width of their ribs and the size of their skulls are particularly interesting. Standing under this skeleton with my daughter, we had the opportunity to bring the past and the present together in the same frame.

Ormanın içinde en çok dikkatimizi çeken, dinazorların kemik yapısı oldu. Bir ara büyük bir dinazorun kemik yapısının altında durduk. Bu devasa kemik yapısının altında durunca insan, ister istemez geçmişteki dinazorların ne kadar da büyük olduğunu daha iyi anlıyor. Milyonlarca yıl önce yaşamış bu canlıların ne kadar güçlü ve heybetli olduğunu hayal etmek bile insanı şaşırtıyor. Özellikle kaburgalarının genişliği ve kafatasının büyüklüğü çok ilginç. Kızımla birlikte bu kemik yapısının altında durarak, geçmişle bugünü aynı karede buluşturma imkanını yakalamış olduk.

Reading this information made me believe even more in natural medicine and the benefits of medicinal plants. They set the price for soaking your feet in the closed tank for 10 minutes at 100 TL.

Ormanın içinde bir de Doktor Balık adı verilen şifalı balıklar vardı. İnsan vücudundaki ölü derileri emerek mikro maşajla kan dolaşımını hızlandırıyormuş. Böylelikle cildin yenilenmesini sağlayıp, sedef, manta ve egzamaya iyi geldiği tıbben kanıtlanmış. Bu bilgileri okuyunca doğal tıbba ve şifalı bitkilerin ne kadar fayadalı olduğuna daha çok inanmaya başladım. Ayaklarınızı kapalı camın içinde 10 dakika bekletmenin ücretini 100 TL olarak belirlemişler.

We had a great time traveling through a forest surrounded by nature, learning about the lives of extinct creatures. Today at Dinopark was a precious day where we laughed and had fun learning about dinosaurs, and it was captured in the most beautiful photo.

Doğayla iç içe bir ormanın içinde nesilleri tükenmiş canlıların yaşantısına yolculuk yaparak, eğlenceli anlar yaşadık . Dinoparkta geçirdiğimiz bugün, dinazorları tanıyarak gülüp eğlendiğimiz ve birçok bilgi edindiğimiz kıymetli bir günün en güzel fotoğrafı oldu.
