Weekly card giveaway

This was a very quiet week for me, Splinterlands related! Having spent a few days away from the computer, decided to place my whole deck on rental, and will probably leave it a few more days. Sometimes we need time to focus on other things in life, and being able to continue to make your card collection work for you is one of the highlights of this game!

I did some math, as in how profitable would it be to rent vs play. I can't factor the soulbound card value, so focused more on the dec income from rentals vs the dec income from selling all the sps won in a season for dec; and although there can be quite a bit of variation in rental income during the days, it does seem to be advantageous to rent! Since I do need to stack on dec and I have limited time now... renting it is, at least for a few more days, and then probably go berserk mode in the last days of the season, in order to reach diamond league!

Do you have any strategies in balancing fun (as in play the game) vs profit? If you do, please do share them!

My strategy is to win free cards from giveaways lol I really like the new power scheme that lets you take up to 50 hours off and not waste any power. I do take a day off a couple times a season.

I did not know that you play Splinterlands, as a participant and winner of one of our contests, I recommend mentioning in your gaming posts @spt-shturm his power of SPT voice will help you a lot, I looked at your awards in splintertalk :)
I think that such a bonus will be for all contestants, not a bad idea lol.

As you can see, I do not do this, only in the comments, when I receive a response from the contestant and when the winner is announced, therefore, sometimes look at us, maybe you will find a contest interesting for you :)
