Some amazing African scenery.

I have assembled some sights taken today to please your eyes.
270.jpg

Some mountain and landscapes and a surprise or two.

We had to renew our Cape wilderness membership cards and so we popped in to the offices at the local nature reserve. This is to allow us to visit all of the nature reserves in our area for free. I have posted some Sugar birds, Snapper turtles and other birds and animals that I found here.
In a second post today in #featheredfriends, I will show you some bird displays that they have in the office at the nature reserve.
So for now come and have a look at some beauty.

Here is an expanded view of the first photo.
240.JPG

Then a scene towards the left hand side.
241.JPG

Here's a look at a dam on the reserve and I saw something land in the reeds on that island in the dam.
343.JPG

So, I zoomed and found the bird that landed. It is a Cormorant.

In the next 4 photos I show you how we gradually reached the end of the day.

And there you have it. Another attempt by me to show you the beauty that we are blessed with here in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
We have a multitude of places available for visits, including the mountains at the one end and the ocean at the other. And so, it is always an adventure to go out there with my camera to find the beauty and to show it to you.

Nature is a place of healing. At least that is what we find. As it releases the stresses that we have to cope with. And believe me when I say that nowadays there are many more stresses that we have to face every day. So, it is always good to breathe the clean and fresh air in nature. And whenever we visit the ocean, to allow the sound of the waves to wash our souls.
So, my advice to anyone that carries heavy burdens is to get out there and to surrender to nature.

And That's All Friends.

The African region will not be completely explored, by anyone and at any time.

There is always a uniqueness and wonder every time you see the recordings or photos from Africa, it is always very pleasant. Especially if you can be there, even if only for a moment.

It is not like that @papilloncharity?

Totally agreed and the scenery always change according to the seasons. Africa is a very big continent and you are right, as all of it can never be explored. The countries are big and each country has a different character,

So it is indeed like that @zedamna2022 😊

Nature can heal you if you want it and if you let nature be, that's my opinion.
Beautiful images of your beautiful country as always, my friend 😍

Good evening Hannes,

Throughout all of the years it has proven that nature is a healer and yet so many people do not believe this. It has many medicinal plants and it can also heal one's emotions and stresses.
I like your opinion and it is totally true 😊

Thank you kindly for the compliment my friend 😀

Cheers and thanks.

Good evening Zac,

People go into the nature, breathe the clean fresh air, say they love it and throw their garbage on the ground. No wonder nature doesn't want to heal them 🤣 !LOLZ

Already greeted my friend and yes, littering is a real problem over here. They don't just throw garbage on the round as some backyard mechanics even throw old car tires into the dams.
Nothing can heal them 😡

Cheers and thanks.

Yep, we already greeted 😁

People think their little piece of paper or even a tire wouldn't matter, but so many people throw their things away and that causes a problem, here too. I can show you many really nice roadside parking spaces with beautiful views, but when you look down the slopes you'll find everything you can imagine and it's disgusting because everywhere there are garbage cans anyway. Seeing such makes me always angry.

Totally agreed with you and I also want to puke when I see it. Imagine a beautiful swan swimming past an old car tire. Empty beer cans floating around and broken glass all over the place.
Sickening every time I see it 😡

Cheers and thanks.

I have seen this all, maybe not a swan with a tire, but similar, and I hate it and the people who do that.

I cannot hate, but I can seriously dislike and maybe it's the same and I will never get used to littering.
So we are agreed.

Cheers and thanks.

Just come to work with me for one day and you'll see what could make one bitter, but I don't let anything make me bitter because I don't want to become a grumpy old man 🤣 !LOLZ

Hahaha, just come live here for one day and you will think that your workplace is paradise.
I have to say that I have never heard you being grumpy so I think that grumpiness is not in your genes.
Or maybe I have got it wrong and your wife will not agree with me 🤣 !LOLZ

Cheers and thanks.

Oh, I believe you - your photos show me an amazing beautiful land.

Well, I can be grumpy, very grumpy at times, but only in real life - if we ever meet I will show you 🤣 !LOLZ

You will show me what when we meet? Your grumpiness? Beware, we have medicines here that can cure grumpy people in an instant. They are not legal medicines, but you will walk with your head in the clouds every day 🤣 !LOLZ

Cheers and thanks.

Nope, I don't think that you and I can change that as kindness and hope is rooted in our beings. Yes, the same as others, we can also get angry, but it never stays with us, and soon we are smiling again 🤣 !LOLZ

Cheers and thanks.

The view of the sky to the view of fresh green nature to the view of the birds and the mountains are all satisfying.

If I can print each will be a photograph in my sitting room..

Thanks for sharing

Cheers
