Our mountains on Christmas day.

Some lovely before and after pics to please your eyes.

I took some morning photos of the mountain peaks and also some late afternoon pics. Here I show you the "before and after".

Amazing how the strong winds can change the views here every day. Almost as if the clouds get tired of being driven high up in the sky and they come down to rest on the mountains at night.
But then a lower wind grabs them and continues to harass them. No rest for the poor clouds.

This is the after photo of the first photo.

This reminds me of how our problems in life continue to harass us. One moment we think that a situation is improving, only to reappear with a vengeance later.
So yes, at times our lives seem to be a continuous struggle.

But it needs not to be. I view my problems as a circle and if I don't learn the lesson in the circle, the problems will just continue to appear in one or another way.
Until I confront the problem head on and change my behaviour to avoid it. Normally it is not a problem, but rather life forcing me to change, always for the better.

As we prepare to go into this coming new year, know that we will take our problems with us into it.
It is what we do today to improve our lot that will determine if the new year is going to be better for us.
I struggled for 18 years with the same problem until I decided to change it. Now I am happy and the problem has disappeared.
Think about this.

And That's All Friends.

Say the clouds are like us, they are in a circle, up and down from time to time. Sometimes, things don't go as we have planned, therefore we should adapt to the plan of life.

Oh yes, we always have to adapt to the ups and downs of life.

Love these mountain pictures! Living in the flat Netherlands, I'm a little jealous ;-)

Happy holidays!

Before we moved here 3 years ago we also lived in a flat area of the country. But I have always wanted to live near the sea. Now we have both and the mountains are a bonus.

Too late to wish you for the Christmas day, but I hope that you will have a great New Year.

Tumbling clouds change from morning to afternoon giving a different light on everything, much like life we need to reflect then move forward once again.

Tackle each day as it arrives, always working toward a better tomorrow.

Oh yes and it also reminded me of life Lady Joan.
So we all have to take our lessons and move forward every day.

So very true and yes we learn new things every day. I only wish we had something like hive when we were teenagers as there are many interesting posts on here from all over the world.

Life is water under a bridge, no I would not turn back time as a teenager we were learning through meetings about our coloured and black brethren of the country who we knew so little about.

Oh yes, we cannot get one second back.

I grew up in a place of a league of nations and life was my teacher.

⌚️⏳⏰ Seen them all, it's the white salt between the old pepper pot popping out that is a daily reminder now....
