Esta vez quise hacer una sanador masculino, ya que desde que comencé a hacer fan art de Holozing, nunca había recurrido a dibujar a algún sanador masculino, así que escogí al sanador del océano masculino. I started to sketch the drawing, taking the original illustration as the main reference. Besides that reference, I also used one of a male model I found on Instagram, this to help me understand a little bit the male anatomy, since I always draw women and I was rusty on that side.

Comencé a hacer el boceto del dibujo, tomando como referencia principal la ilustración original. Ademas de esa referencia, también use una de un modelo hombre que encontré por Instagram, esto para ayudarme a comprender un poco la anatomía masculina, ya que siempre dibujo mujeres y estaba oxidado por ese lado.

After a while, I finally had the sketch ready and then I started to detail the whole drawing. Since this is a healer of the ocean, I decided to integrate paces and many bubbles to the composition and thus highlight that oceanic or aquatic part of the character. After having made the sketch and before I start detailing everything, I always pass over it, a moldable eraser, to remove the excess of graphite and not to stain with it, much of the drawing itself.

Luego de un rato, por fin tuve el boceto listo y seguidamente comencé a detallar todo el dibujo. Ya que este es un sanador del océano, decidí integrar paces y muchas burbujas a la composición y así destacar esa parte oceánica o acuático del personaje. Luego de haber hecho el boceto y antes de ponerme a detallar todo, siempre paso por encima de este, un borrador moldeable, para quitarle el exceso de grafito y no manchar con el mismo, gran parte del dibujo en sí.

To do the line art work and other details, I use three mechanical pencils as main materials. With them I get to make different details and different lines, making in a way a good use of contrast, in my opinion. Although for this drawing, I wanted to detail it even more, adding shading in most of the drawing, or almost all of it.

Para hacer el trabajo de line art y demás detalles, uso tres portaminas como materiales principales. Con ellos consigo hacer diferentes detalles y diferentes lineas, haciendo de cierto modo un buen uso del contraste, a mi parecer. Aunque para este dibujo, quise detallarlo aun más, agregando sombreado en gran parte del dibujo, o en casi su totalidad.

To do all the shading, what I did was to blur the areas where the shadows would go with a blur, adding more contrast with a 2 mm B pencil, to deepen even more the shadows. The truth was too good and I remembered when I used to draw this way back in 2017. I hope you liked this drawing very much friends!

Para hacer todo el sombrado, lo que hice fue difuminar las zonas en donde irían las sombras con un difumino, agregando más contraste con un portaminas de 2 milímetros B, para profundizar aun mas las mismas. La verdad quedo demasiado bien y recordé cuando dibujaba de esta manera por allá en el 2017. Espero les haya gustaba mucho este dibujo amigos!
