Algo de ti se quedo a vivir

Risas y gritos
niños que juegan
alegres en el campo.

Regresa tu recuerdo
cuando en ese mismo parque
nos juramos amor.

El tiempo vuela
es una gran verdad
a un lado quedamos, en silencio.

Regresan tus palabras
regresan los recuerdos
pero tu no regresarás.

Te fuiste con el viento
después de darme un beso
y te llevaste, parte de mi sueño.

Me dejaste un sueño roto
el carmín de tus labios en una foto
y una melancolía que se quedó a vivir.

Me dejaste un gran vacio
un adiós que mato mi deseo de ser feliz
y una pena eterna que se quedó a vivir.

Laughter and shouts
children playing
happily in the fields.

Your memory returns
to that very park
where we swore our love.

Time flies
it’s a great truth
we’re left behind, in silence.

Your words return
the memories return
but you won’t come back.

You went away with the wind
after giving me a kiss
and you took with you a part of my dream.

You left me with a broken dream
the lipstick on your lips in a photo
and a melancholy that stayed behind.

You left me with a great emptiness
a farewell that killed my desire to be happy
and an eternal sorrow that stayed behind.
