I joined a girl rock band! [SPA|ENG]

La semana pasada ocurrieron muchas cosas inesperadas y positivas, una de las noticias mas recientes (y que me está cambiando full la vida) es que recibí una llamada sorpresiva para formar parte de MEGANOVA, una banda de rock conformada por mujeres, acá les cuento los detalles de cómo pasó todo.

El martes por la noche recibo una llamada de Michelle, cantante y productora de la banda, ella me comenta que están en un aprieto ya que se quedaron sin baterista y teni toque pautado para el sábado.

Repito, me llamaron el martes y el toque era el sábado, es decir, en tan solo 4 días la banda tenía su primer concierto, por lo cual había que resolver la situación rápido.

Además de la problemática Michelle me comenta el concepto de la banda, las referencias que tienen y me da una visión por encima de lo que quieren ser como banda de rock, a todas estas quedo enamorada del proyecto y acepto la invitación a la banda.

Los siguientes tres días me dediqué a ensayar arduamente con las chicas, montamos 6 temas para el concierto, 4 covers junto a dos temas originales de la banda, los covers fueron:

• ‘Highway to hell’ de AC/DC
• ‘What’s Up’ de 4 Blondes
• ‘I wanna be your slave’ de Maneskin
• *‘Zombie’ de The Cramberries

Last week many unexpected and positive things happened, one of the most recent news (which is changing my life) is that I received a surprise call to be part of MEGANOVA, a rock band formed by women, here I tell you the details of how it all happened.

Tuesday night I get a call from Michelle, singer and producer of the band, she tells me that they are in a bind because they were left without a drummer and they had a gig scheduled for Saturday.

I repeat, they called me on Tuesday and the show was on Saturday, that is, in only 4 days the band had their first concert, so they had to solve the situation quickly.

In addition to the problem Michelle tells me about the concept of the band, the references they have and gives me a vision of what they want to be as a rock band. I fell in love with the project and accepted the invitation to the band.

The next three days I dedicated myself to rehearse hard with the girls, we did 6 songs for the concert, 4 covers along with two original songs of the band, the covers were:

• 'Highway to hell' by AC/DC
• 'What's Up' by 4 Blondes
• 'I wanna be your slave' by Maneskin
• 'Zombie' by The Cramberries
