MY STATE AS A VERY CLOSE STRANGER – OUCH. {AN ORIGINAL POETRY}

Hey,
Though I am physically next to you,
And we seem to be on good terms.
But deep inside us, we are two different strangers
Deeply lost in thought.

Yes, it is obvious that we are deeply in love.
But why are we lost
Despite being in the same love realm
With pure sincerity as our love foundation
And care as our Pillar?

How did misunderstanding set in?
How can I be treated as a stranger
Despite how much I am in love?
Am I insane?
Or is this a fairy tale about love?

"You cause it"; she said to me as she turned against me
And she ignored my presence.
Though she stayed next to me,
But we are like strangers with no cause to relate.
Ouch! My heart hurt so badly.

Hey, love
Can we please go back in time for a couple of days?
Can you please allow me to right my wrongs?
It is really scary to be a stranger to a lovely spouse,
I rather shed redemption tears than to be scolded by love strokes.

Hey damsel,
I am sorry for the pain I cause you.
I am so sorry for the tears I force out of your eyes.
I was completely out of my mind back then,
And I have come to plead for the redemption of our love.

Please turn your radiant face back to me.
Please show me your heart-melting smile.
Can you please give me a very tight hug?
Please show me we aren't stranger anymore.
