I remain Oluwadrey your humble singer, we are in festive season and Love is fully in the air, as usual Today I am super excited to share my creativity by presenting an amazing Afrobeat love song.

Arike is a soft tempo and sweet melodious afrobeat song about two lovers.
The song for me is very emotional and a heartfelt love song that expresses profound affection and devotion to someone who is special to you. Taking a deeper dive at song, The song's title, "Arike," is a Yoruba name meaning "to cherish" or "to pamper" someone. The song lyrics expresses a deep longing to hear sweet words of love and cherish every expression of feelings between two madly-in-love individuals.

Personally I think the Artists, Kunmie's inspiration for "Arike" comes from a personal heartbreak or somewhat previous breakups this in turn makes the song a reflection of his emotions and a plea for reconciliation.
For Me, Here is How I Connected to this song:
I recently experienced a Love-ache, I won't call it heart break because I was expecting it anyway, I have seen the signs and the red flags are just everywhere but I ignored them all and I was trusting and Hoping on Love, I had a foolish belief that this person in particular will change over the time but even though I know it will end up going down, then it happened and I felt some pain and it wasn't usual one.
I got to know about the song from one of my friend in the office, the song was his ringtone, whenever the phone rings, I got to hear the song and I love it.
