Wednesday Walk That Made Me Smile - Part of My Short Travel

Yesterday, I shared with you about some part of our travel from my workplace to Jeddah City. Jeddah Saudi Arabia is the second largest city of Saudi Arabia where we could reach out the Filipinos authority in Philippines Consulate. Our Philippines Embassy is located in Saudi Arabia mainland Riyadh. Since Jizan province is 12 hours drive by bus, so we choose Jeddah City to renew our contract and ACOP verification to my pension from Social Security System. SSS is a system like an insurance from our own government and we need to pay it monthly with 10 years maturity to avail the pension when we are already 60 years old.

This is the Philippines Consulate in Jeddah.

Inside the premises, we were not allowed to take picture so we respect it. But there was a room where we stayed and had time to relax and have a coffee or soda drinks. I was happy to know that there was an outlet for us to recharge our mobile phone power before we go home.

The sky was so dark and the wind was so cold even in the MRT Station.

We signed our contract and done my verification in SSS office. They told me to report 2 months before the birthday of my husband to avoid cutting it off. Then, our contract was still on the file together with the Filipinos renewing their papers too. We were set to get it back at 12noon. We patiently waiting and after that we went to the Filipino grocery nearbye. We pay 20 Saudi Riyals in the taxi with the driver provided by the Filipino guard. So whatever may happen, they new that the man was driving for us to Sarawat.

My friend posed for a remembrance of our visit in Jeddah. She bought a lot of stuff which we couldn't find in our workplace.

Blog would not be the same without my selfie.

I found Jollibee inside the Sarawat Mall but we had no enough budget to dine inside or bought food. We just bought bread and water. We ate it in our way back home. Everyone are excited to eat Milliner foods since it is originated in the Philippines. Poor two old woman had no enough money. Yes, we have money but it is all budgeted for the family back home. All our sacrifices is for the love of our life no matter how we have nothing to eat sometimes.

This is for my #wednesdaywalk for @tattoodjay, #makemesmile for @elizacheng, #hiveph and @asean.hive admin and community members. Thank you for all your support. My journey here is without, without you with me!
