Newbies Initiative Task 5. My understanding on community tags and tribe token.

From what I learnt from the video post on tribe tokens and community tags, Tokens are built on top of the Blockchain and can only be earned by members of a community. From the lecture, according to @samostically, there are many types of token but not all tokens are community token. Community token are meant for the members of the community. It is a membership that offers numerous benefits.

Why do communities create token on hive

Tokens are created for a number of reasons but communities create token on hive in order to encourage their members. Communities can also use tokens to reward their members who have subscribe to their community and writers who chooses to post on the community. Communities can decide to award members with token instead of hive.

Explain the importance of the use of tags on hive

On the hive ecosystem, the use of tags is very important as it is used to sort and locate a post.

• Tags makes our Post visible, especially when we make use of the right ones. The communities which we tag can easily discover our post. For example, when writing on financial aspect, we tag Leofinance. The moment Leofinance tag is clicked, your content can be found by the reader and curator.
• Tags also serve as a label to our post.
• It helps curator to easily locate the post they are looking for.
• Tags can increase our chances of receiving rewards in specific token.
• It helps readers to browse through to find relevant contents.
• Tags can organize contents and makes contents searchable.
  Some general tags on hive and their differences
  Neoxian tag is one of the general tags use for all topics. The tag can be used to earn NEOXAG tokens.
  proofofbrain is for general topics also. We earn POB token rewards when we get an upvote by POB stakeholders.
  Verifyyourbrain is also for general knowledge topics. The community token is VYB.

DIFFERENCES.

These Three general tags differences are based on their tokens. While " Neoxian tag can earn us NEOXAG tokens, proofofbrain earns POB token and Verifyyourbrain earns VYB token.
Another difference is that Three of them are all different communities.

Ways of earning tribe token on hive
Some of the ways of earning tribe token on hive are

• By trading it. That is buying and selling. One can purchase a large part of token, stake it and use it in voting others post. You earn your curator rewards while voting.
• We can earn tribe token by being members of the community. As members, the community will reward you with some token.
• We can also earn tribe token by our full engagement in other people's posts. That is going through their post and living a well constructive and encouraging comment. Maybe someone can vote the comment. Also posting in the community can reward us with some token.
