The dwarfs carry that mats around at night.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. While growing up, we heard so many stories some scary and some funny. Growing up in the northern part of the country made me believe in so many things because I saw some of them happen, and had to believe some because a lot of people talked about it and confirmed it. Seeing is believing, so I trust that if I were told certain stories, I wouldn't believe they ever happened, but seeing them happen for myself got me convinced. The stories we heard during our childhood days made childhood fun for most of us, as we used them to tease each other and scare the younger ones.

Also, we heard stories that we never saw happen, but we longed for an opportunity to witness them. While growing up, the elderly always told us stories at night. We had one man who was good at it and even demonstrated it when he shared these stories. The demonstration made the story more interesting, and we will give him all our attention because we don't want to miss any part of the story. We longed for and prayed for moonlight every night because it makes it more fun.

One night he told us a story about dwarfs that walk around only at night and carry mats with them (he said they are called gwaigwai). I have always heard stories about them from fellow kids, but they did not give details like this man. They are very strong and cannot be beaten easily by a human being, no matter how strong you are, because they are believed to be extraordinarily powerful and are like cats; they never let their backs touch the ground.

He added that their mats are worth a fortune in the market; they're used for medicine and have a high asking price. He said some rich people were able to get the job done, and that's how they got their wealth. As kids, we were on the lookout for these dwarfs, as it was a quick way to becoming wealthy. Just get dwarf beaten and take his mat. I never saw these dwarfs with my own eyes, but a lot of people claim they saw it but couldn't go anywhere near them.

Those who saw them said they look very ugly; their looks alone is scary. I never saw them, but stories from people around me made me believe in their existence, and I wished to see one at least so I will also tell my story.

Thanks for reading my post.
