NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK 5 - Tribe Tokens And The Use Of Tags.

The newbies initiative program just keeps getting better and better, newbies keep gaining more knowledge on how the hive platform works and how to stay active on the Cryptocurrency ecosystem. Much appreciation goes to the organizers of this program @starstrings01, @projectmamabg, @theycallmedan, @aliento and every other person behind this program, we are grateful.

The task 5 was introduced by @samostically, he for sure did justice to the task and from the knowledge I gained, I will be answering the following questions. I sure did not know about the existence of other tokens on the hive platform until this task was made, another knowledge gained.

Communities create these tokens to reward members for the quality contents they post in their Community. These native tokens are extra earnings users earn aside HBD, HP and Hive for Posting in the niche.

The importance of tags cannot be over emphasized, the right tags are what enables curators find your post easily permit me to say the right tags/tag is what makes your post visible on the platform. Failure to use the tag in which your post falls under might result to the post expiring without getting curated.

The use of the right tag can also help a user earn some tribe token, no doubt the use of tags are very important and plays a vital role in the curation process. The abuse or wrong use of tags are frowned upon, so we should know the right tags to use for or our every post.

There are lots and lots of tags on the hive platform, all unique to a particular Community.

• NEOXIAN: This tag can be used by everyone whether the post was made in the NEOXIAN Community or not but is specifically owned by the neoxian Community, the use of this tag gives a user high chances of getting rewarded with the neoxang token.

• PALNET: Palnet is another tag that is generally used on the hive platform, the curators use the tag to curate on post and it is of quality the user stands a chance of getting rewarded.

• CineTV: This tag is unique to the CineTV Community, once your post is movie related you can make use of this tag and stand the chance of getting rewarded with the cine token.

• OCD: A generally used tag, makes a users post visible to the OCD curators.

One can earn tribe tokens in so many ways and these ways includes the following:

Use Of Tags: If a user makes a post with the Community tag, he/she stands a chance of getting rewarded with these tribe tokens.

Posting In The Community: Just like I stated above about the CineTV Community, making movie related post their can help one earn some cine token alongside HIVE, HBD and HP.

Buy and Stake: If one is able to buy and Stake these tribe tokens, he/she can use this stage to curate in other users post and earn in return as a curator.

In a nutshell, the newbie initiative has helped a lot of us know more about how the hive platform works. Also users been rewarded with tribe tokens actually motivates the user to engage more in the community.
