Mis estimados queridos y nunca bien ponderados lectores debo contarles que vengo de un ambiente familiar muy musical, y la música ha sido algo que tenemos todos en común.
Soy más que adicto a la música, amo cantar todo el día e incluso suelo hacer todo con música de fondo.

Mientras escribo esto estoy escuchando al artista del que les hablaré el día de hoy y que desde hace unos meses vengo escuchando.

Se trata de Giveon, de Estados unidos es un cantante y compositor de R&B (Rythm and blues) que además es de los géneros que más disfruto cantar, tiene una peculiaridad en su voz ya que no es muy usual conseguir un cantante de R&B Barítono tiene una voz grave muy cálida que realza muy bien las emociones de las temáticas usuales de sus canciones, suelen ser de amor y de historias sentimentales.

Estas son 3 de las canciones que más me gustan de él aunque sinceramente, cuando escucho su álbum completo "When It's All Said And Done... Take Time" puedo disfrutarlo de inicio a fin sin problema alguno.

This is Giveon, from the United States, he is a singer and composer of R&B (Rythm and blues) which is also one of the genres that I enjoy singing the most, he has a peculiarity in his voice since it is not very usual to get a Baritone R&B singer. a very warm deep voice that enhances very well the emotions of the usual themes of his songs,
They are usually love and sentimental stories.

These are 3 of the songs that I like the most from him, although honestly, when I listen to his full album "When It's All Said And Done... Take Time" I can enjoy it from beginning to end without any problem.

La primera canción se llama "Heartbreak Anniversary" es una de las que lo popularizó en el medio, antes del featuring con drake en "Chicago Freestyle", a mi parecer esta canción tiene tantas cosas buenas que era imposible que no se hiciera popular, se trata de una persona con el corazón roto en su proceso de sanar por la ausencia de una relación aún no superada, es bastante emocional ya que veo la letra como un diálogo en forma de desahogo que está llena de comparaciones muy descriptivas para ayudarte a ponerte en sus zapatos.

The first song is called "Heartbreak Anniversary" it is one of those that made it popular in the media, before the featuring with drake in "Chicago Freestyle", in my opinion this song has so many good things that it was impossible for it not to become popular, it it's about a person with a broken heart in the process of healing from the absence of a relationship not yet overcome, it's quite emotional since I see the lyrics as a dialogue in the form of venting that is full of very descriptive comparisons to help you put yourself in his shoes.

La segunda canción que quiero mostrarles es like i want you, es un R&B con estos toques de soul que le dan ese aire melancólico que me encanta, de esta canción entendí que es una pareja que sostiene una relación moribunda a base de mentiras que se van descubriendo desde el inicio hasta su último puente.

Esta canción en especial es la segunda de mis recomendaciones porque disfruto mucho cantarla ya que es un reto reproducir los diferentes matices de Giveon en cada parte de la canción .
También me gustaría alguna vez cantarla para alguno de los concursos de canto de hive en los cuales participaré pronto.

The second song that I want to show you is like i want you, it's an R&B with these touches of soul that give it that melancholy air that I love, from this song I understood that it's a couple that maintains a dying relationship based on lies that go away discovering from the beginning to its last bridge.

This song in particular is the second of my recommendations because I really enjoy singing it as it is a challenge to reproduce the different nuances of Giveon in each part of the song.
I would also like to sing it sometime for one of the hive singing contests in which I will participate soon.

Como siguiente pieza tenemos favorite mistake, para mi es la canción mas bella sobre infidelidad que he escuchado hasta el día de hoy, personalmente me gusta mas la versión acústica. porque es un poco más lenta y me hace sentir de un mood diferente.

Es un relato que describe los sucesos de una infidelidad y como ambos a pesar de que sienten culpa eso no les impide seguir repitiendo los mismos “errores favoritos”. Errores Favoritos es un título especialmente irónico porque nadie tiene un error favorito pero cuando se trata de una infidelidad es bastante ingenioso.

As the next piece we have favorite mistake, for me it is the most beautiful song about infidelity that I have heard to this day, personally I like the acoustic version better. because it's a bit slower and it makes me feel in a different mood.

It is a story that describes the events of an infidelity and how both, despite the fact that they feel guilty, that does not prevent them from continuing to repeat the same "favorite mistakes". Favorite Mistakes is an especially tongue-in-cheek title because no one has a favorite mistake, but when it comes to infidelity, it's pretty witty.

Como bonus especial me gustaría recomendar esta joya que no fue tan exitosa mediáticamente como las demás pero a mi parecer es una canción que merece su honorable mención. “Vanish” tiene una temática muy diferente a cualquier canción pero con un escenario que es muy común para todo el mundo. Un punto de una relación en el que dos personas aman pero hay momento de peleas donde demuestran que se quieren tanto el uno al otro que aunque hayan discusiones ambos saben que no van a “desaparecer”
