Here I am today to show you one of the most beautiful churches in our city, a few days ago after a job interview that went badly I decided to reward myself with a kebab (you will find a post about it on my blog) and then since the weather was nice and after a long it was a little sunny and warm I decided to visit the church and the square dedicated to San Francesco. Piazza San Francesco is one of the main squares in my city, also known by the name Piazza Mazzini due to the statue which is in the middle of the square, now under renovation, it has always been a meeting place and crossroads for various bus stops, a nerve center of the city.
The square has maintained its nineteenth-century forms since they built a pantheon above a staircase and today it is a place for conferences and musical events surrounded by a small park where you can relax. The square itself has many benches and some small pools for citizens and tourists to relax. furthermore it is surrounded by various commercial establishments and obviously there is also the church dedicated to San Francesco.

Aquí estoy hoy para mostrarles una de las iglesias más hermosas de nuestra ciudad, hace unos días después de una entrevista de trabajo que salió mal decidí premiarme con un kebab (encontrarás un post al respecto en mi blog) y luego Como hacía buen tiempo y después de mucho tiempo hacía un poco de sol y calor decidí visitar la iglesia y la plaza dedicada a San Francisco. Piazza San Francesco es una de las plazas principales de mi ciudad, también conocida con el nombre de Piazza Mazzini debido a la estatua que se encuentra en el medio de la plaza, ahora en renovación, siempre ha sido un lugar de encuentro y cruce de varias paradas de autobús. , centro neurálgico de la ciudad.
La plaza ha mantenido sus formas del siglo XIX ya que construyeron un panteón encima de una escalera y hoy es un lugar para conferencias y eventos musicales rodeado de un pequeño parque donde relajarse. La plaza en sí tiene muchos bancos y algunas pequeñas piscinas para que los ciudadanos y turistas se relajen. además está rodeada de diversos establecimientos comerciales y obviamente también está la iglesia dedicada a San Francisco.

The church is very beautiful and has a very long nave, dating back to the Middle Ages, unfortunately it is not always open to the public but I was lucky and found it open, so I was able to admire not only the exterior but also the magnificent interior. The church is in Franciscan style and inside there are many frescoes dedicated to Saint Francis, plus various states of saints and Madonnas, I lit a candle in Saint Anthony, one of the saints I like the most, behind the altar there are then some large colored windows, which give off a truly beautiful and colorful light if the sun is shining.
The exterior is surrounded by a road and a small green space, it is a very popular church and loved by the citizens. There is a nice atmosphere and then going out there and seeing the large square illuminated by the sun's rays is really beautiful. A square absolutely worth visiting if you come to Pistoia.

La iglesia es muy hermosa y tiene una nave muy larga, que data de la Edad Media, lamentablemente no siempre está abierta al público pero tuve suerte y la encontré abierta, así que pude admirar no solo el exterior sino también el magnífico interior.
La iglesia es de estilo franciscano y en su interior hay muchos frescos dedicados a San Francisco, además de varios estados de santos y vírgenes, encendí una vela en San Antonio, uno de los santos que más me gustan, detrás del altar hay luego unos grandes Ventanas de colores, que desprenden una luz realmente bella y colorida si brilla el sol. El exterior está rodeado por una calle y un pequeño espacio verde, es una iglesia muy popular y querida por los ciudadanos. Hay un ambiente agradable y luego salir y ver la gran plaza iluminada por los rayos del sol es realmente bonito. Una plaza que merece la pena visitar si vienes a Pistoia.
