Feathered Friends contest ENTRY - The Dance of Silence

Hello bird lovers, another time sharing my experiences with all of you, so this will be my entry for this week's FeatheredFriends contest, with the ALONE challenge.

As an image for the cover and to participate in the challenge, I decided on this interesting and striking photograph, which I personally liked a lot because of the great moment that I was able to capture, in which we can see a cormorant with its wings spread, as if was posing for the occasion.

This bird, unlike other species that I had the opportunity to photograph, is very calm, and rests for a long time in the same place, thanks to that it is possible to photograph it calmly and without rushing, something that I personally appreciate very much. , for the good results always obtained with this incredible bird.

It is not the first time that it has perched on the same point of the tree, apparently from this place it can observe its entire surroundings better, in addition to being above the river which allows it to submerge from time to time in the waters in search of fish to eat.

Although the publication was focused on the theme of the contest (alone), and in all the photographs only a single bird appears, I found it interesting to highlight the last image, with the only photograph in which two cormorants appeared together, but at the same time separated , each one in a part of the branch.

Nice pictures. I didn’t even know that cormorants could sit on branches. They also have webbed feet.

Yes, they are mainly always found in the water, but they also like to perch on tree branches and observe from above.

What a beautiful bird you have chosen to participate in the contest, dear friend @nicanor-mosquera
I love the cover photo, without a doubt a peculiar pose, it's good that it is a calm bird that poses in the same place for a long time, that allows you to photograph it
Beautiful photographs, I appreciate you sharing.
Have a splendid morning
