Crypto.com debit card. How to spend your crypto easily.

Moving up to tier III.

The crypto.com debit card is one of the best moves that i have made in the crypto space after joining Hive as a content creator.

It bridges the gap between crypto and real world use case in a way that nothing else has that i have seen.

It allows me to translate my hard work and innovation in the crypto space to real world utility and has revolutionized my crypto experience.

The card brings utility to my tokens and has been the biggest factor in being able to go full time crypto this year.

I took the gamble on a new exchange just 20 months ago and lodged $250 worth of CRO tokens to there wallet and applied for a debit card. At this stage there was still a lot of uncertainty around what the team was building as there had been issues in the past.

But from doing my research and finding it to be the best option for a crypto debit card i took the calculated risk and put the money down as they required a minimum stake to get the tier II card.

I wrote about it at the time,

Get this sexy debit card.

And even added a reference for others who wanted to try for them selves.

Use my referral link: https://platinum.crypto.com/r/h9sm6npumy to sign up for Crypto.com and we both get $50.
Referral code is [ h9sm6npumy ]
$350 CRO stake required for first few months.

I'm sound like that. The offer still applies for those people late to the party. At the time i wasn't sure how it would work out but after 20 months of using the card and working in crypto the results are in.

It's the best thing ever.

The main part is that it's so easy to use. It looks and feels like a normal bank card but the app has defi accounts for your crypto, low fees and then easy to spend when you want to use it. Even better is the fact that you get paid by using it. You get rewards in native CRO tokens for your use of the card and the platform.

It has changed my whole experience.

Sadly, my card is now retired. Fortunately, I now have a better one.

Jade Green Steel.

  • €3,500 CRO Staked
  • 3% back on All Spend in MCO Rewards
  • 100% Spotify Rebate.
  • 100% Netflix rebate.
  • US$10,000 Interbank Exchange Rates Limit
  • No Fee ATM withdrawal limit US$800

It's a big step up from the first card but in all fairness. The card has payed for itself. I haven't bough any extra CRO over the past two years but i have gotten rewards for every dollar spend through the card. A $10 rebate on my Spotify every month and then put it into an interest account for 10% APR.

Now I can move up the the next level and speed up that growth with 3% cashback, $10 Spotify and $13 Netflix rebates every month.

It's a long way to reach the €35,000 needed for the fourth tier card in Icy White but you would be surprised how fast these actions can compound over time.

Get this sexy Debit card part II.

The future of crypto lies in the masses adopting it and that won't happen until it becomes as simple as using your debit card for a coffee.

That is where we lie at the moment.

I will keep working in this space for as long as possible and it's projects like the crypto.com exchange and debit card that make it possible.

That is where the future lies and the projects that can bridge the gap will be the ones that gain mass adoption the fastest.

This is great. I think crypto was just starting out, can get the credit card. At the time it was a new thing. Now I heard that the card gives you so many benefit. As good as you can get from the bank. You also get lots of rebates too !

This looks very interesting. I already have a card that pays me rewards in Bitcoin so I've been taking advantage of that, but this may fill a nice void with day-to-day stuff.

You may be getting $50 in the next few months. :-)

It's class.
I highly recommend getting one for anybody who is properly into crypto and is one of the big stages for me in going full time.

Any of the cards will do but i have found this to be very reliable and easy to move funds onto. I turn everything into BUSD and sent it to my card from metamask. Cheap and simple.

It's a nice bridge out and it allows you to use your crypto in an easy-to-use manner. If I had to pick a crypto-related debit card or credit card, crypto.com would be at the top of the list but I think the biggest hurdle for me is to consider the fiat values. After all, crypto has large price swings.

I have the blue one. Haven't used it much but it's good to have it.

The blue one looks great as well. It's a hard call between the two cards.

I use mine for everything now.
Even when i don't want to spend any crypto i found myself topping it up with my regular card for that 2% cashback.

It all adds up over time.

I looked at it a few months ago and the 6 months staking before being eligible put me off. Maybe I should just do it as 6 months is not that long and I do need a way to use my crypto.

I'm fairly sure that you are eligible for the card straight away but just have to lock up those funds for a minimum of the six months.

I might be wrong on that but it's how i remember it and even for moving up the level to this card i just had to increase my stake to 3500 and they started the process straight away.

Either way it's worth getting one and being able to spend crypto in real life.

Congrats! So, you chose the jade green one? I chose the "royal" indigo one. I like darker colors on my cards. Not sure if I'll ever go to the next level, but if I will, I'll have a problem. Both colors are light, one of which sort of pink. :)

I was caught between the two of them but went with the green in the end as it is such an unusual color for a debit card.

I'm not mad about the next level up and might have to keep my green one when i break the 35k barrier. They just look too close to a regular card for me. I like them to stand out a bit more.

I've got the no stake one works well, the app on the other hand, I gave that a well deserved 1 star review!

I almost got the no stake card to try it out but went for the350 one instead to start. a wise decision i think as it pays me about $40 a month to use it with perks and cash back. Not too shabby for a debit card.

I have to say that i've never had a single issue with the app itself. I have seen some bad ratings for it but personally it has been fine to use.

Oh the app works it's just the navigation is TERRIBLE!

I've got some CRO pooled with DAI so I'm seeing how it goes with getting to the staked card - I do quite fancy one, but am in no rush.

I have to say the card is SO convenient!

Have the red one for the past two years. You will have the wife going shopping with it, booking flights with it. It's good. Plus the rebate for Spotify is handy as well.
