Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 84

Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,

Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 84!

Again I am challenging you to show me your photos of birds and the choice is yours what image to show, because it is FREE THEME. However, I would like to tell why you choose that photo, what makes it special to you.

ROUND 84

SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD

FREE THEME

I choose the nightingale to present as an example. The sweet singer is almost invisible blending with the environment. I was happy that there were few in the park, singing during the mating season. It was like a song contest and a real delight to listen to them.

When that mating season is over, the songs stopped and you can hear something one has described as squeaky wheelbarrow. Still, nightingales are renowned singers and although there are other birds that are quite good and dare say better, they will be always among my favourites, whom I can listen to hours.

With so many birds arriving it is difficult to stay focused, this is my entry of a bird visiting during this week. One I have seen previously and never been able to capture through the lens.

Never nests in the tree, visits to find food, plenty superb woodlands in the church grounds over the road from us for nesting in peace and quiet.
