Chritsmas, Winter And Birds
Christmas is near, I feel it in the air. It is cold outside, but warm and cosy at home. Cupboards full with sweets, biscuits and chocolate. Hot drinks, Christmas movies on the telly. What about the birds? Last two weeks I've got no photos of birds whatsoever. But I have new images from my favourite Deep Dream Generator. You may remember I used to show some of the works created by the AI and I am still amazed of how good they are and how much advanced the program is. And because I am in Christmas mood, I decided to prompt for a typical Christmas card with robin. Let's see the results.
When you use the Deep Dream Generator, you can keep the images privite or to show to public. Next images I kept privite and this is the first time to show them.
Here is my Christmas card with robin.

But what about any bird with snowy backround? Something like this.

Or, this.

Sometimes the images become surreal. I asked for Winter landscape with birds and snowflakes as a prompt and I got this.

Every image can be regenerated or evolved. I wondered what would become if I regenerate the last image and here is the result.

Another winter landscape with birds.

The program needs seconds to create the image. How amazing is that!
If you haven't tried DDG (Deep Dream Generator) yet, you may wish to do it now. Free to register and you can explore the incredible works shown by the other dreamers. That is how the users are called. And getting inspired to start creating your own dreams, that is how the images called.
Unitil next time, I wish you a cosy weekend with this last image.

OMG! That looks so cool. Loved the idea that the birds look like humans. :)
I love that one too. It turnes better than I thought.
Ooh some are really gorgeous !😊
it's incredible indeed, I think for everyone it's exciting to be able to make this kind of images by an AI, I understand and admit it easily,
alas for us artists, it's depressing, distressing, to see us enter this era where, while we thought we were doing something special, thought we too had a "talent" even if it is very far from being valued in the world, so now entering the times we are on the verge of no longer creating, because what is the point of spending hours painting a scene, when it is possible to have it done automatically, quickly, artificially....
for me, it's been a long time now that I paint for my own pleasure, for the well-being that creation gives me, and it's been a long time that I don't even try to show and even less to sell, the market is flooded with images filtered, everyone improvises as an artist, a photographer, so why go to the trouble of promoting a work and trying to sell it...
I now content myself with the pleasure of creating,
pleasure that is within everyone's reach with AI, so I can only be happy for everyone I imagine...;)
Another point is, AI uses pictures already created by a someone fellow...what about the rights that we are so entitled to be cautious with, are the robots above the laws..?
oh yes I forgot, we are at the moment creating robots entitled to shoot people in the streets, so of course they are not subject to the same rules....and we find that normal, and we don't see what we are slowly doing..
Sorry Neli, I didn't want to comment in a negative way 😉 and I especially not want to open a debate or a polemic
the images you got by playing with the generator are really cute and enjoyable ❤️
There is nothing to be sorry about. I am impressed of what the AI is doing, but also a little scared how far it may go. The artists put their soul and heart in their works and this cannot be done by a robot. I am glad that you share your thoughts. ❤
