Let get started
Before you think about reupholst of your car seat the are some reason for that ie if your car leather expired, damage, or you want change from clothes to leather etc

Let look at this simple steps I took to achieve this beautiful seat above, I will use image for more details on this post.

Step 1
First of all I ditch out the seat from the car to my workshops and then pick the seat sample to the market and then purchase a new leather that match the old one.

Step 2
The second step I consider was for me to loose the seat from the back for easy measurement

After that I now use my measurement tape and take the measurement and write it on the seat

Step 3
In this step I now transfer the measurement I write on the seat and to my new leather and then mark it out

And with the help of scissors ✂️✂️ I now cut it out

Step 4
In this particular step the work really start, because you need to draw out the shape of the seat with your new cut leather or cut out the old pattern and the tream it.
After that I now place the tream material on a roof material and the gum it together to make the material think and smooth when use

And then I cut it out

Step 5
In this step I now carefully use my sewing machine and then sew my material together following the shape of the old seat

Step 5
In this step I finally cover my old seat with the new leather by carefully removing all the clips on the old seat and the clip the new seat to my foam to form the finished work

Wow another beautiful finish! It’s amazing how you figure and keep up with all the pieces and sew them to their correct positions. This is really a mastery work of art you do.

We’d love to hear more about your shop and how you’ve come to do this type of work. How long does it take you and how exhausted are you at the end? These types of details would be great to add to your posts ;)
