The annoying mp3 player

If I'm not mistaken, I believe living a peaceful life should be the aim of almost everyone on earth. Having peace of mind and cohabiting peacefully with ones neighbors should be our top most priority because it helps ones wellness. I hate crowdedness, I love to stay in a serene environment that's why I always like to be in the midst of few people so as to have peace of mind.

Since birth, I've been privileged to live together with my parents and siblings in a three bedroom apartments which comprises of 4 to 6 flats before my Dad was able to build our own house so I've not really experienced noisy neighbors like that. I can say I'm lucky to have lived in an apartment with fewer neighbors, sometimes you could hear a pin drop whenever my neighbors are at home, the apartments was conducive and noise free. No one interferes in anyone's matter at all, we all mind our businesses and live happily in the compound.

I can't live forever with my parents so, after my studies I have to look for a job and luckily for me I got a job that took me far away from home which makes me live in a rented apartment. There is this neighbor of mine that moves next door to me this guy had one annoying mp3 player that irritates me a lot, he doesn't know when to off the player once he on it.

He always comes late from work, but once he's back I'm in trouble with his loud music because myself and him are the only tenant in that house while the other apartments was vacant. The most annoying part is that, he always echo the songs he's playing, this act do disturb my peace and I don't want to confront him.

Because as a lady living with only him as my co-tenant, I don't know him very well and didn't know how responsible he was. So to prevent me from been in danger, I just keep mute and concluded within me that I will report to the house caretaker which I later did. So once he starts the music, I will try to keep myself busy with one or two things in my room.

After a while, the caretaker came unannounced one evening to the house and met his annoying mp3 playing so loud. The man was angry that how on earth will a reasonable human being be making that kind of noise and inconveniencing me (his co-tenant).

He knocked at his door and gave him strict warning that he is disturbing the peace of the compound and if he continues in such act he will be evicted from the house. The caretaker instructed him to play his music with reasonable volume and be enjoying it by himself in his room, he apologized and reduced the music to the lowest volume immediately, wow I was finally relieved and did a thumb up to the caretaker for his help.

Thankfully he concurred and after the man had left, he told me that once his music is too loud for me I should call his attention to it so that he will reduce the volume. The other apartments was later occupied by people who also hate noise and love to live peacefully, so till I left the compound we all cohabited peaceful without disturbing ourselves.
