Apreciados lectores y amigos, una nueva semana, un nuevo viernes y aquí estamos en un nuevo encuentro, gracias a la oportunidad que nos ofrece la Comunidad Holos&Lotus, con este espacio. Hoy, 24 de junio, día de San Juan tiene un tinte especial para mí, ya que es mi cumpleaños; por ello puedo decir que mi vida va de San Juan en San Juan.
Desde que tengo recuerdos, me hacía feliz que mi día de cumpleaños fuese feriado, ya que eso suponía no ir a las actividades escolares y, dependiendo de las posibilidades de mis padres, salir a algún lado. El motivo no era precisamente el San Juan, sino la conmemoración de la Batalla de Carabobo, Fiesta Nacional en Venezuela.
Seguí con la misma suerte al ingresar a la vida laboral, continué teniendo mi día de cumpleaños para mí y disfrutando apagar el despertador y levantarme tarde.

Ever since I can remember, I was happy that my birthday was a holiday, since that meant not going to school activities and, depending on the possibilities of my parents, going out somewhere . The reason was not exactly San Juan, but the commemoration of the Battle of Carabobo, a National Holiday in Venezuela.
I continued to have the same luck entering working life, still having my birthday to myself and enjoying turning off the alarm clock and getting up late.
La espiral de mi vida va creciendo de San Juan a San Juan. Y hasta los actuales momentos, sigue siendo un día feriado; pues estoy residiendo en España y aquí el día es festivo por el Santo y hay varias tradiciones que alegran el día. Debido a la pandemia no las había disfrutado. El año pasado fui hasta la playa, pues se había relajado un poco el estrés de la pandemia; pero no hubo celebraciones ni hogueras; sólo fuegos artificiales, lanzados desde diferentes partes del pueblo. Este año no podía perder la celebración a borde de playa, con el sonido de las olas y la brisa marina.
Así que me instalé en la playa al caer de la tarde del día 23, me sorprendió ver muchísima gente en diversas actividades así como bastantes turistas. Es lo normal durante el verano, pero como 2020 y 2021 se caracterizaron por los espacios solitarios, me sorprendió este rápido regreso a la normalidad y observar todos los rostros sin mascarillas. Mi nuevo San Juan me regaló un ambiente festivo y la oportunidad de presenciar las actividades típicas de la región, me moría de las ganas por ver en persona y en directo las hogueras en la arena. Y a la media noche, como apertura del día de San Juan, encendieron un cono de ramas secas. Fue impresionante como las llamas duplicaron la altura de las ramas incendiadas.

So I settled on the beach in the late afternoon of the 23rd, I was surprised to see many people in various activities as well as many tourists. It is normal during the summer, but since 2020 and 2021 were characterized by lonely spaces, I was surprised by this rapid return to normality and seeing all the faces without masks. My new San Juan gave me a festive atmosphere and the opportunity to witness the typical activities of the region, I was dying to see the bonfires in the sand in person and live. And at midnight, as the opening of Saint John's Day, they lit a cone of dry branches. It was impressive how the flames doubled the height of the burning branches.
Pude ver como parte de los espectadores, un grupo de mujeres entre ellos, lanzaban taquitos a la hoguera, pero todos la mirábamos atraídos por las llamas en ascenso y su calor llegaba a la piel, más allá del retiro obligatorio. Y ahí nació un nuevo ritual para mí, lancé mentalmente a la hoguera mis pensamientos negativos, mis temores, mis deficiencias corporales, respiré profundo y me concentré en el crepitar de las llamas. Me sentí renovada, luego caminamos por la orilla del mar, recibiendo las gotitas de agua que se desprenden de las olas en su llegada a la arena, mientras sobre la arena, grupos de personas encendían sus propias hogueras con fuegos artificiales. Estoy segura que me contagié con la buena vibra del mar y mi nuevo año de vida será muy positivo.

La hoguera es la apertura del día 24, el día de San Juan. Antes de encenderla, como parte del espectáculo encendieron unos fuegos artificiales, como para entrar en calor. Las llamas son blancas y brillantes, el humo y el olor a pólvora llenaban el ambiente, a pesar de ser todo el evento en un amplio y ventilado aire libre. Sin duda inicié mi cumpleaños de una manera bien diferente a lo usual. Lo disfruté mucho. El resto del día fue hermoso. Lo cerré con una reunión virtual con mis hijos y nueras, mi esposo fue el anfitrión: trajo la torta sorpresa, a las once de la noche. En síntesis, tuve un extraordinario cumpleaños, muy feliz y lleno de reflexiones que les compartiré en breve; les comparto la primera:

Gracias querida @belkisa758. Sí fue un día bien diferente, que comenzó el 23 con el disfrute del aire del mar, el sonido de las olas y muchísimos fuegos artificiales (que no me gustan tanto). Hubo una escenificación de una danza de brujas, que me recordó la danza de las mujeres en el portal de las piedras de Outlander, la versión teatral termina con la simbolización de de la quema de brujas, la hoguera. en verdad, tengo que investigar sobre esto, porque no asocio la quema de brujas con la fiesta de San Juan Bautista. Y en otras regiones, hacen las hogueras y después las saltan.
Un año más, un año de recuerdos que va llenando el baúl... Esos recuerdos, tanto buenos y malos, son esas experiencias que nos aferran a la vida, que nos hace cada día mejores seres humanos, que nos hace mejores padres, mejores hermanos..., para otros, mejores hijos.
Pronto, en septiembre, se registran 5 años de estar en esta red de la criptomoneda (Steemit/Hive), será también un maravilloso momento para celebrar y compartir.
