Yummy Potato fritters

Hello hive learners. Happy Sunday. I hope you are enjoying the weekend with your family. Today I'm here to share another recipe with you. Today is a rainy day, the first thing that comes to mind is to cook fritters. They are easy to make and look very appealing when served with tea.I want to make onion fritters. While making fritters my daughter came to me and asked for potato fritters. Then my mind changed. Making on her request.

Flitters are known as pakora. This is the most popular recipe in the sub continent. It's an important part of any tea party. Party is incomplete without them. On every rainy day at every home, pakoras are cooked. People of all ages like to eat it.

There are many types of fritters. Onion fritters, potato fritters, vegetables fritters, cabbage fritters, chicken fritters, bread fritters, spinach fritters, brinjal fritters and many more.

  • Ingredients :

Potato. 2 pieces
Gram flour. 1 cup
Baking powder 1 pinch
Water. As required
Oil. For frying

  • Spice:

Salt. 1 teaspoon
Red chilli. 1 teaspoon
Cumin seed. 1 teaspoon
Coriander seed. 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Chilli flakes. ½ teaspoon

  • Procedure:

Cut potatoes in fries shape
In a bowl add all spices and Gram flour. Mix it well

Make a smooth paste with the help of water.
In a pan add oil and heat it up.
When it's hot turn the flame into medium.
Dip potatoes into the Gram flour mixture.
Fry until it's golden brown.
One by one fry all the fritters.
Ready to serve.

You can serve it with green sauce,ketchup with a hot cup of tea.

  • Tips and tricks :

Gram flour mixture texture must be not so liquid that not stick on potatoes
Flame must be medium. Otherwise fritters will burn and not be well cooked from inside.
Put cooked fritters on the kitchen towel to remove excess oil from it.

You can decorate these fritters by sprinkling green corriander on it.

Los flitters se conocen como pakora. Es la receta más popular en el subcontinente. Es una parte importante de cualquier fiesta de té. La fiesta está incompleta sin ellos. En todos los días de lluvia, en todos los hogares se cocinan pakoras. A la gente de todas las edades le gusta comerlas.

Hay muchos tipos de buñuelos. Buñuelos de cebolla, buñuelos de patata, buñuelos de verduras, buñuelos de col, buñuelos de pollo, buñuelos de pan, buñuelos de espinacas, buñuelos de berenjena y muchos más.

  • Ingredientes :

Patata 2 piezas
Harina de gramo. 1 taza
Polvo de hornear 1 pizca
Agua. Según sea necesario
Aceite. Para freír

  • Spice:


Sal 1 cucharadita
Guindilla roja. 1 cucharadita
Semillas de comino. 1 cucharadita
Semillas de cilantro. 1 cucharada
Cúrcuma en polvo 1 cucharadita
Copos de chile. ½ cucharadita

  • Procedimiento:
    Cortar las patatas en forma de patatas fritas
    En un bol, añadir todas las especias y la harina de Gram. Mezclar bien

Hacer una pasta suave con la ayuda de agua.
En una sartén añade aceite y caliéntalo.
Cuando esté caliente pon el fuego a medio.
Sumergir las patatas en la mezcla de harina de Gram.
Fríe hasta que estén doradas.
Una por una freír todos los buñuelos.
Listo para servir.

Puedes servirlo con salsa verde,ketchup con una taza de té caliente.

  • Consejos y trucos :

La textura de la mezcla de harina de gramo no debe ser tan líquida que no se pegue a las patatas
La llama debe ser media. De lo contrario, los buñuelos se quemarán y no se cocinarán bien por dentro.
Poner los buñuelos cocidos en el paño de cocina para eliminar el exceso de aceite de la misma.

Wow.. It is indeed very easy to prepare.. Almost like making chips but with a little bit more ingredients.

That sounds really delicious, I love the mixture of different spices, that probably make its trick. Unlikely plain potato only with salt that might be very special taste.
