The James Bond I Am At Night
Ever since when I was young I happen to be someone who hates going out at night or probably hate walking at night because I have this mindset that bad guys may come around or anything bad may happen which stops me from doing so. The only time I feel free walking at night is when am with friends, my siblings or parents but when it comes only me, it is a no because I won't go out.
This have been part of me for a very long time until I had a girlfriend who likes me escorting her home at night. I really don't know how to tell her that I don't have the mindset to walk alone at night because if I do then she would conclude am not man enough lol. My girlfriend do come to visit me all the time and when it is 9 to 10pm she would want me to escort her home.
My street is always very quiet and you hardly see anyone passing, so I am even more scared when I escort my girlfriend home but I don't show it, instead I put swag to make her more happy when we discuss while walking. There is a particular junction I do escort her to and when I noticed that she is gone there is this speed I do add to my run when going back home and I bet if anyone can compete with me by that time.
Anybody I see by that time is a suspected suspect so I don't stop running until I get home. I am scared to the extent that anything that drops from my pocket I hardly pick it up even if it is my shoe or slippers.
There was a particular day that I was escorting my girl home then I noticed these huge guys coming towards us and my intention was they were coming to hurt us lol. The only thing on my mind was to run that I didn't even allow my girlfriend to know, she kept looking for me until she called me on phone to know that I have gotten home lol.
That really pissed my girlfriend a lot because she never expected something like that would happen and when she ask why did I run away I lied to her that those guys do threatening me and that was why I did what I did. She said she didn't see anyone like that because the people we saw coming were going on their own without even stopping lol.
This really got her angry that I just have to open up to her that I don't like going out at night lol. Though she didn't like my actions but she just have to overlook it and whenever she remembers that day she would just burst into laughter.
What's the crime rate in your area for you to be that scared?

In either way, the night time is a dangerous time, but it's better you learned to gather up courage and be the man, your girlfriend wants you to be, else you might just sold your place to her.
