Preparation for Khmer New Year Celebrations!🙏🏽 👒

Let’s discussing the current situation in Cambodia:

Welcome back to my blog! I'm so glad you're here again. You know, I've got to tell you about what's been going on in Cambodia these days - it's really something that is such an issue and I am sure we might face the same especially if you live in Asia.

As you may know, the weather here has been absolutely crazy lately. I don't know if you've heard, but it's been getting hotter and hotter, especially from around April up until the middle of the year. The sun has just been beating down mercilessly, and a lot of people have been complaining about it. I have to say, I totally understand where they're coming from.

When I'm out traveling, especially on my motorcycle, it can be such a struggle dealing with the heat and the intensity of the sunlight. Even when I'm wearing sunscreen, I still feel like I'm getting baked out there! It's honestly not a whole lot of fun. I really worry about how it affects my skin too - I don't want to end up with any nasty sunburns or anything like that.

And you know, it's not just an issue when I'm out and about. Even just trying to get around on my bike, the heat can be such a problem. Sometimes it feels like the motorcycle is just radiating this intense warmth, and it's really uncomfortable. I'm always trying to find ways to stay cool and keep the sun off me as much as possible.

But you know, through all of this, we've still got our Cambodian New Year to look forward to! It's coming up in the middle of this month, and I have a feeling it's going to be a really good time. Despite the heat, people always seem to get so excited for the new year celebrations.

A big part of that, of course, is the water throwing! It's such a fun tradition, and it's the perfect way to cool off when the weather is so hot. Everyone just gets out there and starts splashing around, having a great time. I love seeing the joy on people's faces as they participate.

And the concerts and other events that happen during the new year celebration are always such a blast too. The energy is just electric, with music and laughter filling the air. It's the kind of thing that really brings I really can’t wait for Khmer New Year.
