Jackfruits Seeds Dessert & Sticky Rice 🌾🥚

Greetings everyone! How it's going? Dessert in Asia, sometimes they have the similar texture but different name, so in my country we call this dessert as jackfruit seeds dessert. It's been a really long time since I last had this dessert, like around a half of the year! I was actually planning to show you this great jackfruit seed dessert. Sadly, my friend who was supposed to join the cooking can't be able to comes because she was busy with the classwork.

I'm kinda surprised by how much I miss this dessert. Jackfruit seeds are not really popular in my region, but in my hometown people even make it as a routine. It's a bit sad that my friend couldn't join us cooking this.

As a kid, I really liked a dessert that my mom often made. It was different from the usual name call jackfruit seeds dessert because it didn't actually have jackfruit in it. Instead, it is just the look so everyone assume to call it jackfruit seeds. This yummy treat had eggs, sugar, and taro as the main ingredients, making it smooth and a little sweet. The inside had a lovely yellow color because of the eggs. We made it even more delicious by adding two spoonful of coconut cream on top. I think somebody has try it before and its tasted really good, with a nice balance of sweetness and creaminess. I always enjoyed its smooth texture.

I remember when I used to cook sticky rice by steaming it, it would often burn because I made mistakes with the time and amount of water.

After cooking the sticky rice, it looks like this. My mom is going to mix two desserts in one bowl and pour coconut milk over it. We going to have it after dinner as well, so we have to prepare the left over first, after it cold enough we move it back to the fridge.
