A Visit to the Simón Bolívar Monumental Plaza [Eng/Esp]
The city of El Tigre is located in the south of the state of Anzoátegui, Venezuela. This city was born with the oil boom in the 1950s approximately.
People arrived from many parts of the country as well as from different parts of the world with the promise of a better, abundant and prosperous life. Most of the families came from Margarita Island...many families grew up here and were formed with that Margarita spirit, which exalted the Margarita culture.
The Bolivar Square is emblematic, it was inaugurated in 1955, so tells its history as a space to exalt the spaces of the city in its beginnings, then with the changes of governments it has gone through different stories, stories of abandonment, as well as stories of recovery according to the governments of the day.
Thus the years have passed, the last inauguration took place in 2023, highlighting the spaces and green areas for strolling, rest and distraction of passersby who day by day meet day and night to make use of the benches, sit in green areas that are allowed for that or just watch those who stroll through their spaces.
Its spaces are of great size therefore its name is so great Plaza Monumental Simon Bolivar.
For different reasons I had not yet enjoyed it as a space of distraction, I passed by there to go to a fruit shop that is nearby and I like to buy there. It is considered the most modern Bolivar square in Venezuela and the Latin American continent.
For the Christmas festivities, after so much it was time to stroll through its spaces and be one more of those who feel very pleased with their arranged spaces, besides enjoying the Christmas decorations, very nice indeed ... perhaps in many squares in different cities of Venezuela and the world is given appointment to this type of decoration where the lights give a touch of tranquility and enjoyment to those who take the time to enjoy them.

La ciudad de El Tigre se encuentra ubicada en el Sur del estado Anzoátegui país Venezuela. Esta ciudad nació con el boom petrolero en los años 1950 aproximadamente.
Llegaron personas de muchas partes del país igualmente de diferentes partes del mundo con la promesa de una mejor vida, abundante y próspera. La mayoría de las familias eran provenientes de la Isla de Margarita...aquí crecieron y se formaron muchas familias con ese espíritu margariteño enalteciendo la cultura margariteña.
La plaza Bolívar es emblemática, fue inaugurada en el año 1955, así lo cuenta su historia como un espacio para enaltecer los espacios de la ciudad en sus inicios, luego con los cambios de gobiernos ha atravesado diferentes historias, historias de abandono, así como historias de recuperación de acuerdo a los gobiernos de turno.
Así han pasado los años, la última inauguración se realizó en 2023, resaltando los espacios y áreas verdes para el paseo, descanso y distracción de transeúntes que día a día se dan cita de día y de noche para hacer uso de los bancos, sentarse en áreas verdes que son permitidas para eso o simplemente mirar a los que se pasean por sus espacios.
Sus espacios son de gran medida por lo tanto su nombre es así de grande Plaza Monumental Simón Bolívar.
Por diferentes razones aún no la había disfrutado como espacio de distracción, pasaba por allí para dirigirme a una frutería que está cerca y me gusta comprar allí. Considerada como la plaza Bolívar mas moderna de Venezuela y el continente latinoamericano.
Por las festividades de Navidad, después de tanto llegó el momento de pasearme por sus espacios y ser una más de los que se siente muy agradados con sus espacios arreglados, además de disfrutar las decoraciones navideñas, muy lindas por cierto...quizás en muchas plazas de diferentes ciudades de Venezuela y el mundo se da cita a este tipo de decoración donde las luces le dan ese toque de tranquilidad y disfrute a quienes nos tomamos el tiempo para poder disfrutarlos.
