New Orbital Updates, Lucky Adventurer in NMS!

avatar

Recently, nms (no man's sky) had a huge update for FREE! I really like it! It makes me want to play more hours, and I always pass my gaming time daily and don't care about anything else during that time. I lose track of time whenever I play this game, especially after the update.

Like it said, there is a total overhaul of space station visuals, and yes, it does. Look how huge the space station entrance is now, and it comes in a variety of designs and colors! Green, red, pink, you name it!

The ceiling is much higher, much more spacious, and much more stunning and fascinating than ever.

Even the space station computer core has become bigger and more active than before.

The tech shops are now arranged in one place, making it much easier to shop. The aliens are easier to interact with now. I don't have to walk and fly to two different part of the station like before.

More starships are landing on space stations. Much more frequent than before. It's a convenient update for me to scan and wait for my favourite starship to land.

You can buy new tech module for starship creation from this merchant. Now, you can craft your own starship design and customize it. The S-Class reactor is one of the important upgrade for the crafted starship.

The mission office. You can take your mission from the mission agent here. The rewards is worth the risk. But it's all depend on the standing score of certain alien.

The teleport has it's own area now. It better like this than before.

You can design your new starship if you have all the parts needed. You can pick your favorite wings, engine, and thruster design. But of course you need to search for the parts.

Appearance modifier, where you can change color, armor design, helmet, and everything about your avatar.

Starship outfiting. You purchase improvement. Upgrade the tier of you current starship. You also can sell you starship for units.

Terminal trading computer, is the same room with the teleports. This is brilliant because everytime I jump to another space station, first thing I will need is this terminal trading. Putting the terminal trading in front of the teleport is a great idea!

The guild npc where you can donate and buy guild item. There are several guilds in this game, merchant guild is one of them. I am about to explore more about this new update.

After checking everything new in the space station, I leave it for now, to continue my adventure in this massive universe.

Jumping to a new system always required persistence and consistency. I am 664k light years from the galactic core. After upgrading my starship, now I can jump 10k-20k light years closer to the core. I can jump more, but where's the fun of that without landing on a new planet to see it's flora and fauna.

There was this one planet I landed on to have some fun, and I found this really huge creature. Surprisingly I can tame it. So, I registered it as my new pets and enjoy riding it around. Now I can summons it wherever I like to. I call it Cebusetta.

I bought this cool multitool. It has alien like pistol. I really like it, although it's not S class, that's perfectly okay. I can upgrade it using nanites later. 50k nanites needed to upgrade it from A to S class.

What they've done with the space station is really amazing. Not only the interior of that has been upgraded spacious and beautifully, the external look so amazingly awesome!

There are more variety of space station design. It just continues to amaze me with every new design I come across.

What more good news for me is that I found a new starship interceptor. This time I found A class, 61 million units on it's price tag. I claimed it for free, quickly turned it into my main starship and sold the old one for 23 millions of units.

So before leaving, I eliminate a maximum level of sentinel security once. Not easy, and not that hard. It doesn't kill me, tho. All I did was jump to a higher place and start shooting and killing those sentinels.

So, that's all for today. Thank you so much for your support. Until next adventure!

Have a nice day, and goodbye!

it's incredible how no man's sky is at the beginning i remember it was a failure or a disappointment with what was expected and now after years of work it's not only a fantastic title, i also think it's the biggest open world game, it's absurd the amount of planets and things to explore and how the map seems to be infinite haha.

I like the photos of the planet but the truth is the photos of the space station are on another level, it looks amazing and amazing all the space station and the level of detail is phenomenal, I imagine that one will take quite a long time to explore it completely. Greetings :D

It's good to know that No Man's Sky has undergone a remarkable transformation since its initial release. I just know about this game recently, it caught my attention because it's really something like minecraft can do, and I love minecraft. I agree with you about the biggest open world, the total amount of planets are insane. I think no one can explore it completely haha, and I always discovered a first contact new system., well sometime I came across systems and planet that already been discovered by others. Btw, thank you so much for the tips! it means a lot! thank you! !LUV !PIZZA

I did some math, which was a calculation that built upon some previous calculations made by other travelers in the universe.

It would take around 6.5 TRILLION years to explore the universe fully. And even that number barely scratches the surface. It is extremely generous since it assumes the traveler only spends 1 second on each and every planet/moon. So it still does not explore the game 100%...

Perhaps to do that would take considerably longer. How long does it take the discover EVERYTHING a planet has to offer? We both know the arduous answer to that, haha. So maybe the estimate yet another explorer gave might be more accurate, although upon first seeing the number I thought it was greatly exaggerated.

Something along the lines of 1.9 x 10¹⁹ years. But still, this number 19,000,000,000,000,000,000 nineteen quintillion years seems to somehow fall short since this time it assumes you only spend 15 minutes in each solar system for the sole purposes of refueling. This is still not enough and also ignores space stations, flora, fauna, among many other things in this reality.

That's some insane amount of time and calculation. Even reaching another galaxy feels like forever, even with a full upgrade of the starship hyperdrive, it still feels like you haven't done anything to reach the core. I wish to, at least, reach the second galaxy, maybe the third, and that took years (maybe?) to reach haha.

Perhaps someday our intergalactic paths will cross somewhere among the stars. And we might exchange gifts, just like the highly advanced visitors did when they descended unto the governments of the world.

You must find a portal

That would be great! A portal I must find one then!

The truth is I haven't seen anything about this game, but I saw that you mentioned that it had a free update and I remembered that Epic Games gave games and other things for free throughout the month of December (last year) (it has nothing to do with the post but I wanted to mention it 😅) The aesthetics of this game remind me a little of Halo, thanks for sharing!

Yeah it's really make me wonder why they give it free. If it's something I like, I will love to pay to support the hard work of the developer. This game getting better while I am still at my rookie hour in it (almost 100hr), but I feels like I barely scratch the surface of the game haha

Great to see this game still getting updates and seeing success after the horrendous launch it had. I really regretted spending that money when it first came out.
