Me senti un poco cansada ya que fue algo fuerte la subida, me hidrate, y recargue energia con unos bocadillitos de platano, me senti mejor cuando lo comi, si senti que me falto algo de hidratacion, pero como todo estaba cerrado aun, no pudimos parar a comprar nada, ya faltando como 1,5 Km hasta llegar al punto de partida, encontramos un lugar abierto y compramos un gatorade que me cayo muy bien. Gracias a Dios me senti bien, claro con las piernas bien cansadas, y se lograron estos 22 Km. Bueno seguimos entrenando rumbo al maraton CAF 2026.

Greetings friends
And now, on the last weekend of the year, just a few days before the end of 2025, I am grateful for what I have experienced, what I have learned, what I have overcome, for every kilometre travelled. Today I did my last long run of the year with my husband, a significant 22K for me, kilometres of endurance, as the first 10 kilometres are uphill, intense but wonderful. This was the route where I did my first 21 kilometres, a special route for long distances. The meeting time was 5:50 a.m., and we went out for a run with another friend. Today I used another of my gifts from Santa for the first time. Yes, I have been good, hehehe. My watch, where I can better check my training. Well, as it was the first time I had used it, I was a little lost, but that's how it is, we all have to adapt, which is why it is so important not to use anything new on race day. I kept an average pace of 7 min/km on the climb. Well, since I was a little lost with how the watch worked, I think I paused it, and when I reached the 11 km mark, I realised that it only recorded 7.23 km. Well, I saved the race and started another one. This time, I didn't even look at my watch. I just let it run on its own, and it marked 11 km, which is the return distance.
I felt a little tired because the climb was quite steep. I hydrated myself and recharged my energy with some banana snacks. I felt better after eating them. I did feel that I needed more hydration, but since everything was still closed, we couldn't stop to buy anything. With about 1.5 km to go to the starting point, we found a place that was open and bought a Gatorade, which went down very well. Thank God I felt fine, although my legs were very tired, and we managed to complete these 22 km. Well, we'll keep training for the 2026 CAF marathon.
