Hola amigos de esta comunidad Throwback Thursday, desde que la conocí me propuse publicar aquí porque me gusta mucho recordar los buenos momentos, es muy cierta la frase ¨recordar es volver a vivir¨.
Hace unos años, exactamente en el 2015, celebramos dos motivos muy importantes. Por un lado una fecha muy especial: los 20 años de nuestro hijo y por otro lado nuestra unión familiar porque tanto mi esposo y yo estuvimos lejos por 1 año y medio, él estuvo trabajando en Ecuador y yo en Venezuela, mientras nuestro hijo continuaba sus estudios en Cuba. Por tanto estos eran muy valiosos motivos para festejar por todo lo alto.
En pleno verano, en el mes de junio, escogimos el Hotel Barceló Solymar de nuestra hermosa playa Varadero. Es un hotel muy acogedor, muy confortable, tiene áreas de piscinas muy bonitas pero lo mejor es la zona de playa donde se encuentra. Tiene la característica de que es Todo Incluído, o sea se paga toda la estancia con antelación y está incluida la alimentación, bebidas, cabaret, gimnasio, sauna y restaurantes especializados. O sea, desde que llegas no tienes que preocuparte por el dinero que vas a gastar porque ya lo gastaste todo con antelación jaja.

Hello friends of this Throwback Thursday community, since I met it I decided to publish here because I really like to remember the good times, the phrase “remembering is living again” is very true.
A few years ago, exactly in 2015, we celebrated two very important reasons. On the one hand a very special date: our son's 20th birthday and on the other hand our family union because both my husband and I were away for 1 year and a half, he was working in Ecuador and I in Venezuela, while our son continued his studies in Cuba. Therefore, these were very valuable reasons to celebrate in style.
In the middle of summer, in the month of June, we chose the Barceló Solymar Hotel on our beautiful Varadero beach. It is a very cozy hotel, very comfortable, it has very nice pool areas but the best thing is the beach area where it is located. It has the characteristic that it is All Inclusive, that is, the entire stay is paid in advance and food, drinks, cabaret, gym, sauna and specialized restaurants are included. That is, from the moment you arrive you don't have to worry about the money you are going to spend because you already spent it all in advance haha.
Nos divertimos mucho en la playa, montamos la bicicleta acuática que manejó mi hijo y mi esposo mientras yo disfrutaba jaja. En la playa podíamos ver estrellas marinas vivas en la orilla del mar y caracoles también vivos. Esto es muy importante porque significa que se cuida bien el medio ambiente y el ecosistema para mantener el equilibrio entre las diferentes especies que habitan en el lugar.
Las piscinas son muy sabrosas y refrescantes con una vista muy agradable y siempre con juegos de participación con animadores muy agradables, nos ponían a bailar y a realizar diferentes juegos muy divertidos. En las noches había espectáculos de cabaret muy bonitos también.
We had a lot of fun at the beach, we rode the water bike that my son and husband rode while I enjoyed haha. On the beach we could see live starfish on the seashore and live snails. This is very important because it means that the environment and the ecosystem are well cared for to maintain the balance between the different species that inhabit the place.
The pools are very tasty and refreshing with a very pleasant view and always with participation games with very nice entertainers, they made us dance and play different very fun games. In the evenings there were also very nice cabaret shows.
Lo que más me gustó es que disfrutaba de gran variedad de platos de comida y sin tener que cocinar jaja una maravilla. Mi hijo prefirió el día de su cumpleaños ir a comer en el restaurante especializado de comida mexicana ya que nunca había comido los tacos mexicanos y así lo complacimos.
Tenemos guardadas todas las fotos que nos recuerdan estos bellos momentos y si tuviéramos la oportunidad de volver, con gusto repetiríamos la visita aunque para eso haya que trabajar en otro país para ahorrar jajaja.

What I liked most is that I enjoyed a great variety of food dishes and without having to cook haha it was wonderful. On his birthday, my son preferred to go eat at the specialized Mexican food restaurant since he had never eaten Mexican tacos and so we pleased him.
We have saved all the photos that remind us of these beautiful moments and if we had the opportunity to return, we would gladly repeat the visit even if that means we have to work in another country to save money hahaha.

As a family you had a big challenge in that era being scattered in three distant countries, but once again you proved that love is strong with this dream reunion, you deserved it and you made it happen. Hola amiga, muy bonitos esos dos momentos familiares y de esa manera pasar un gran momentos, ademas todo se ve increíble, acogedor y mas aun poder celebrar de toda esa experiencia y no importa todas las adversidades que se tenga que pasar, ya que una familia siempre hará lo posible.
Así es amigo, fue muy reconfortante y necesaria la celebración después de tanto tiempo separados, la selección del lugar fue muy adecuada, lo disfrutamos mucho. Muchas gracias por su lindo comentario.
