MY NEWBIE INITIATIVE TASK 2: Guildlines and Markdown

Have you ever been in the battle field before?
Trust me your entire might and strength is almost useless on this playing ground, but all that matters is that you win no matter what you do or how you do it.
These past few days have been quite challenging, I was down for a while and after getting well enough my unwillingness to do anything Hive-related kept rising with the passing of each day. Writing, typing, all of it just felt tiring. But the battle is over now, and here is my entry on the second Newbies Initiative Task.

Question 1

I joined hive at the beginning of this year 2022 towards the end of the first month. I could not participate well at first because I didn't understand so many things yet. So I spent some time off and began to observe various activities on the chain from different people and different communities.
A few weeks after observing the platform, I came up with my first post and I titled it Success habits: things I have noticed as a newbie on hive. It's basically all I think a newbie will need to succeed.
After publishing my first post, making my other publications became easier.
Since then, I've been able to learn a lot from top-notch experts and veteran in various communities especially finance, food, nature, marketing and Blockchain. Asides the monetary rewards, I see hive as a big school of knowledge where you can learn from people's experience without having to meet them in person. And that (in my opinion) is enough for personal growth and self development.

Question 2

Plagiarism and vote begging? I see no reason why anyone should do that, especially if you're a newbie. And here is why;
Ideally, one should have done some due diligence if truly you're interested in being a member of the hive chain by asking enough questions from your onboarder or anyone ahead of you on the platform to learn the T&C governing the chain.
Trying to claim other peoples' intellectual property as yours is a crime and an act of irresponsibility.
The human nature wants instant gratification. People want to board a train now and get to their destination the next minute. I feel the need to grow fast quickly without putting the required work is one of the reasons for vote begging. Hive is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Its best to just work and get your rewards accordingly. Your consistency will make your reward bigger, eventually.

Question 3

What are your thoughts on post recycling?
I don't know why. But this particular question sound so funny to me. 😅😅
I really don't have much to say on this, but post recycling could be as a result of some of these factors;
It could be laziness of the writer and his inability to come up with new and interesting contents.
It could be as a result of writer's block.
N.B: Every writer faces writer's block.It could also be a requirement to come up with a new post from the previous one. etc.
In my own opinion, this is not a cool thing to do. But then, there are cases where post recycling might be justifiable though. But in cases where one knows there's no tangible reason to, there's no need to do it.

Question 4

| How helpful has this post been to you in understanding Markdowns? |
|---|
To be honest, I thought the use of markdown requires some extra technical knowledge (such as coding) before now. And because such skills as coding is not what I really want, I was not interested in it. All I could just do it admired some amazing markdown works I see here on hive.
But with what I've learnt here, I now see markdown as no big deal any longer.
𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 @starstrings01, 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 team @newbies-hive, and 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 team @hive-learners for the privilege of this learning phase on hive.

I agree with what you said there was a time when recycling was allowed this should not be done because this is not a good thing for a blogger.
Yeah. The overall effect of it is reducing the writer's worth and value.
Good use of markdown stayle.
Also explained all the questions briefly.
Good one 👌
Best wishes for you ❤️
Yeah I tried to make everything short and simple.
Meanwhile, I used to codedly envy your markdown styles. Don't laugh me o 😆😆
But now I can do all of them. 😎😎
Thanks for checking out my entry.
