My Worst Experience As An Instrumentalists

I have been an instrumentalists since a tender age and I can say that one way or the other one would have encountered a lot during the course of learning how to be a better player so there are lot if scenerios that will happen in this line and one won't be satisfied with it. Since i have been playing, i have been invited to a lot of event which i don't always honour all due to the fact that i love sending those under me to go there and cover up for me.

Three days ago, we went for an outing event in a church and we were to minister after been invited and we honoured the invitation, then various singers were present because the program was a night of praise so it was our turn but i didn't really played the keyboard but after the ministration i just notices that one of us with the guest artiste came to me to get my number so i gave it out needing me to help him play the keyboard in a program on Sunday but my mistake was that i didn't make the necessary enquiries about the church, the distance and others not until i started the journey to the church and i noticed how far it was i couldn't go back again because i was already there so i should just finish what i started.

They started the program late and the first thing that made me annoyed was that they were not musically oriented and this gave me a lot of stress not even a little upgrade in their sense of music, i can't correct them because they don't have the idea of how it is been done. The place was so far that one can't easily see a ride to the main road. The program was getting boring and still they didn't finish early, i was so angry that i had to go outside the building and check it out. It was almost near the end of the day and they just finished.

Immediately i packed my instruments and headed out but i couldn't get any ride so i and other instrumentalists started walking for more than 30 minutes, walking and carrying the instrument, i was so tired that i could not go further again and everywhere is already dark, luckily we saw a bike man just passing and he decided to give us a ride till we get to the main road so we can get taxi and reach our destination on time, getting home, i was so tired and i just had my bath and went to bed immediately. After that experience, I have decided not to go to anyhow event even when invited i will surely make my findings well before accepting so as not to go through this same stress again
