Women's equality in society - Contest #127[Eng | Esp]
Greetings my dear hivers and especially to the women of the hive, here again making me to participate in this initiative number #127 of the Ladies of Hive community that this week proposes @joanstewart.
Saludos mis queridos hivers y en especial a las mujeres de la colmena, nuevamente aquí haciéndome para partícipe de esta iniciativa numero #127 de la comunidad Ladies of Hive que para esta semana nos propone @joanstewart.
Are we helping to defend our rights, equity, overcoming poverty or standing aside, supporting each other, and how?//¿Estamos ayudando a defender nuestros derechos, la equidad, venciendo la pobreza o quedando al margen, apoyándonos unos a otros, y cómo?
Currently in my country, Venezuela, many organizations have been created to defend women. I could say that this is just beginning. It should be noted that there has always been discrimination against women, in previous centuries the situation was worse, in this twenty-first century has been an awakening and many women have supported each other to assert and defend our rights, etc.. Nowadays we have been able to participate in all areas of society. And that is a great advance. In addition to this, we are creating awareness to all women by promoting campaigns on education, finance, health, etc. so that they can fend for themselves and improve their economic conditions which can keep them away from poverty, misery and violence. There are still many laws to improve or change for the defense of women. In the meantime, with what we have, we support each other in this macho society that we hope will soon change.
Actualmente en mi país Venezuela han creado muchos organismos que van en la defensa de la mujer. Podría decir que apenas esto esta comenzando. Es de resalta que siempre ha existido la discriminación de la mujer, en siglos anteriores era peor la situación, en este pleno siglo veintiuno ha habido un despertar y muchas mujeres nos hemos apoyado entre si para hacer valer y defender nuestros derechos, etc. Actualmente hemos podido participar en todos las áreas de la sociedad. Y eso es un gran avance. Aunado a esto se crean conciencia a todas las mujeres promoviendo campañas sobre educación, finanzas, salud, etc para que puedan valerse por si solas y mejorar su condiciones económicas las cuales pueden alejarlas de la pobreza,miseria y violencia. Aún faltan muchas leyes que mejorar o cambiar en pro de la defensa de la mujer. Mientras tanto con lo que contamos nos apoyamos mutuamente en esta sociedad tan machista que esperemos que pronto tenga sus cambios.
Do we keep in touch with other women periodically, checking if they need help, sharing burdens among ourselves and how?//¿Nos mantenemos en contacto con otras mujeres periódicas, comprobando si necesitan ayuda, compartiendo cargas entre nosotras y cómo?
I do keep in contact with many women to stop and go in defense of women. I like to defend their rights as well as equality. I do not allow any male chauvinist man to subject women to his whim. I am aware of some cases and all of them have been attended by a multidisciplinary team to stop this type of men who are abusers and believe they own their partners, committing abuse, physical and verbal aggressions. I know very closely an organization in my city that is responsible for the welfare of women and pending if abuses are committed with them. This non-governmental organization is called Tinta Violeta. It is incredible how the people who work in this non-governmental organization work. They are dedicated to promote the defense of women, to create awareness to abused women, that they are not afraid, that they are not alone.
Si mantengo contacto con muchas mujeres para frenar e ir en defensa de la mujer. Me gusta defender sus derechos al igual que la igualdad. No permito que ningún hombre machista someta a mujeres a su antojo. Estoy al tanto de algunos casos y todos han sido atendidos por un equipo multidisciplinario para frenar a este tipo de hombres que son abusadores y se creen dueño de la pareja que tienen, cometiendo abusos, agresiones físicas y verbales. Conozco muy de cerca un organismo en mi ciudad que se encarga de velar por el bienestar de la mujer y pendiente si se cometen abusos con ellas. Este organismo no Gubernamental se llama Tinta Violeta. Es increíble como trabajan las personas que hacen vida en este organismo no gubernamental. Están dedicados a promover la defensa de la mujer , a crear conciencia a las mujeres maltratadas, que no tengan miedo, que no están sola.
Currently in my country at the Prosecutor's Office level, there are prosecutors who are in charge of watching over women's rights. There are articles that are in charge of doing justice in this type of violation of women's rights. Also at the labor level, there are bosses who abuse female employees by seducing them and have been denounced before these organizations. I have a friend who was sexually harassed by her boss and she set him up until she had proof together with other female employees that the boss also wanted to seduce and sexually harass them by offering them clothes, better salaries, etc. And these brave women denounced him and he was taken to the prosecutor's office. He was punished to the full extent of the law and there was no bail and no option for anything else, only years in jail. I try as much as possible to promote campaigns in defense of women since I am a volunteer in the department of student welfare and constantly in the institution where I work we dedicate and support these campaigns to defend the rights of women. And above all to raise awareness through workshops, lectures, etc..
Actualmente en mi país a nivel de Fiscalias Trabajan abogados fiscales que se encargan de velar por los derechos de la mujer. Existen artículos que se encargan de hacer justicia en este tipo de violación a los derechos de la mujer. Asimismo a nivel laboral jefes que abusan de las empleadas seduciéndolas y han sido denunciados ante estos organismos. Tengo una amiga que fue acosada sexualmente por su jefe y ella le tendió una trampa hasta que tuvo pruebas juntos con otras empleadas que también el jefe quería seducir y acosar sexualmente ofreciéndoles prendas, mejores salarios, etc. Y esta mujeres valientes lo denunciaron y fue puesto a la orden de la fiscalia. Todo el peso de la ley lo castigo allí no valió fianza no hubo opción a mas nada solo años de cárcel. Trato en lo posible de promover campañas en defensa a la mujer ya que soy voluntaria al departamento de bienestar estudiantil y constantemente en la institución donde laboro dedicamos y apoyamos estas campañas para defender los derechos de la mujer. Y sobre todo a crear conciencia mediante talleres, charlas, etc.

Que terrible experiencia la de tu amiga y sus compañeras de trabajo con ese jefe abusador, que bueno que llevaron a cabo la denuncia, es bueno tener apoyo de otras mujeres en estos aspectos legales porque a la mayoría les da miedo denunciar

Hola @irenenavarroart efectivamente son unos abusadores. Algunas mujeres callan por miedo. Pero cuando consiguen apoyo de otras mujeres conocedoras del tema se sienten motivadas y apoyadas, formulan la denuncia. Y es más fácil ayudarlas. Gracias por comentar. Saludos
Involved in assisting woman where you are is constructive and rewarding. Sadly many woman still don't come forward in our country when they have been abused, the tide is turning slowly with youth now much more aware.

Thank you for commenting. It is an arduous task for women to know and value themselves so that their self-esteem is strengthened and they are able to denounce these abusers. There have been great advances a lot of information in terms of workshops, conferences, talks and we must be multipliers and thus contribute our bit. I embrace you from a distance
Woman in business where I joined in locally, woman donated toward a system assisting directly with those having to hide in a safe haven from abusers, others rescued from trafficking both exceptionally difficult situations. We never know enough, then realize how enormous the problem is when becoming more available to assist each other.
