Feliz día amigos en @needleworkmonday. Estos días la costura ha estado un poco pausada no porque no tenga proyectos por realizar sino porque mi mente ha estado un poco ocupada en la salud de un tío muy querido y esto me tiene un poco preocupada.
En mi galería encontré un pequeño proyecto en el cual ayude a una amiga ha terminar unos preciosos cojines drapeados, tengo cierto conocimiento en como se elaboran porque de joven veía a mi madre hacerlos y son verdaderamente una obra de arte. Existen diversos diseños, se comienzan ha elaborar marcando la parte trasera de la tela en cuadros y luego con costura a mano se van uniendo las esquinas de los cuadros lo que le dará forma al diseño deseado.
Happy @needleworkmonday friends. These days the sewing has been a little paused not because I have no projects to do but because my mind has been a little busy with the health of a very dear uncle and this has me a little worried.
In my gallery I found a small project in which I helped a friend to finish some beautiful draped cushions, I have some knowledge on how they are made because when I was young I used to watch my mother making them and they are truly a work of art. There are several designs, they are made by marking the back of the fabric in squares and then hand sewing the corners of the squares together which will give shape to the desired design.
En este caso mi amiga @milagrosotero tenía ya elaborado el drapeado pero necesitaba que le hicieran la parte trasera a los mismos para poder introducir la almohada de relleno y poder lucirlos.
In this case my friend @milagrosotero had already made the drape but she needed the back of the cushions to be made so she could insert the pillow and show them off.
Cuando acepte pensé que solo cortaría y pegaría la parte trasera a máquina y listo, pero luego de cortar los dos trozos de tela que colocaría atrás a cada cojín ya que eran dos, me encontré que si cocía directo a la máquina las orillas de los cojines se deformaban y no lucían bien, por lo que primero tuve que coser a mano de manera de armar todo los bordes manteniendo el diseño del drapeado.
When I agreed I thought I would just cut and glue the back to the machine and that was it, but after cutting the two pieces of fabric that I would put on the back of each cushion since there were two, I found that if I sewed directly to the machine the edges of the cushions were deformed and did not look good, so first I had to sew by hand in order to assemble all the edges keeping the drape design.
Una vez organizado el drapeado entonces ubique primero uno de los trozos de tela y luego el otro de manera que uno quedara encima del otro unos centímetros y así al introducir la almohadilla de relleno quedara bien tapada.
Once the drape was organized, I then placed first one of the pieces of fabric and then the other so that one would be on top of the other a few centimeters so that when I inserted the stuffing pad it would be well covered.
Así pude terminar este sencillo trabajo de mi parte al colocarle la parte trasera a los cojines drapeados de mi amiga Milagros.
So I was able to finish this simple work on my part by placing the back of the draped cushions of my friend Milagros.
Espero luzcan muy bien ya sea en los muebles de la sala o también para decorar camas en las habitaciones. La tela que se utiliza generalmente es el raso por su gran brillo lo cual hace que luzcan aun más los cojines. Espero haya sido de su agrado este sencillo pero lindo proyecto. I hope they look great either on the living room furniture or also to decorate beds in the bedrooms. The fabric that is generally used is satin for its great brightness which makes the cushions look even more. I hope you liked this simple but nice project. Greetings friends and see you soon.

wow es un modelo diferente para hacer unos lindos cojines, me encantó, como costureras a veces nos provoca dejar el trabajo cuando vemos que se nos dificulta 😂, pero luego sentimos la motivación y continuamos hasta que lo logramos y nos quedan espectaculares, a pesar de su contratiempo logró resolver y armar la tela perfecta, la felicito le quedaron muy bien 👍, espero su tío mejore de salud pronto, les deseo una feliz semana Santa 🤗
