Hola queridos compañeros, espero se encuentren muy bien y pasen un lindo fin de semana, he estado algo extraviada de esta plataforma, muchas cosas han pasado últimamente y hoy, ya encontrándome en casa, descansada y luego de haber asimilado todo, vengo a contarles mis experiencias vividas en estos días pasados.

Si eres venezolano o incluso si no lo eres, quizás habrás escuchado hablar sobre la nueva hazaña que llevó a cabo el prestigioso Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela en el intento de récord Guinnes con la orquesta más grande del mundo.

If you are Venezuelan or even if you are not, you may have heard about the new feat that the prestigious System of Orchestras of Venezuela carried out in the Guinness record attempt with the largest orchestra in the world.

Una vez nos enteramos que se haría esta actividad, cada núcleo en todo el país se encargó de prepararse y ensayar fuerte las piezas que irían para dicho concierto, aquí en mi pueblito, trabajamos muy fuerte todos los días y fuimos 31 personas que junto a todo el estado Sucre reunimos 475, aunque no era la cantidad que se esperaba, fue una selección de personas minuciosa en la que las 475 personas tocaron y representaron bien las piezas a tocar.

La pieza escogida para el intento de récord era, una de mis piezas favoritas, “Macha Slava” de Tchaikovski, una pieza que narra la guerra que en esos tiempos se vivía cuando invadieron a la comunidad Slava y Rusia en un intento de ayudarlos, se une a ellos con todos sus soldados voluntarios. Es un grito desesperado de la comunidad Slava cristiana en contra de la opresión que vivía, pidiendo el cese de la esclavitud a la que los tenían sometidos.

The piece chosen for the record attempt was, one of my favorite pieces, “Macha Slava” by Tchaikovski, a piece that narrates the war that was going on in those times when the Slava community and Russia were invaded in an attempt to help them. unite them with all his volunteer soldiers. It is a desperate cry from the Christian Slava community against the oppression they lived, asking for the end of the slavery to which they were subjected.

¡No fue fácil! | It was not easy!

Organizar a más de 12 mil personas y coordinarlas para unirlas en una orquesta, nada fácil.
El día que salimos llegamos en la madrugada y mientras nos hospedaban en el hotel se hizo de mañana y salimos directo al ensayo, exhaustos pero muy emocionados por lo que nos esperaba.

Organizing more than 12 thousand people and coordinating them to unite them in an orchestra, not easy.
The day we left we arrived at dawn and while we were staying at the hotel it was morning and we went straight to the rehearsal, exhausted but very excited about what awaited us.

Imagínense una cola de mil autobuses esperando para retirar el desayuno…

Veníamos desayunando a eso de las 11 de la mañana y para ahorrar tiempo, nos daban de una vez el almuerzo para guardarlo y esperar la hora sin tener que volver a hacer las interminables colas que se hacían desde las 7 de la mañana. Los ensayos comenzaban en la tarde, a eso de las 2, en el patio de las fuerzas armadas en fuerte Tiuna, con un sol que destilaba odio y calor por todos sus poros, por algo fueron las previsiones de llevar gorras y sombrillas.

We came for breakfast at around 11 in the morning and to save time, they gave us lunch at once to save it and wait for the hour without having to return to do the endless queues that were made from 7 in the morning. The rehearsals began in the afternoon, around 2 o'clock, in the courtyard of the armed forces in Fort Tiuna, with a sun that exuded hatred and heat from all its pores, for something were the provisions of wearing hats and umbrellas.

El día del concierto, nos acreditaron con nuestro brazalete que nos identificaba a cada uno y nos indicaba el puesto donde nos teníamos que sentar.

On the day of the concert, we were credited with our bracelet that identified each of us and indicated the position where we had to sit.

De hecho, no puedo contenerlas mientras escribo esto y rememoro todo.

In fact, I can't contain them as I write this and I remember everything.

Al siguiente día, sentí una tristeza repentina al ver que ya todo se había acabado, que ya nos regresaríamos a casa. En el camino, cada tanto nos esperaban personas para recibirnos con carteles de felicitaciones. Creo que eso fue lo mejor, recibir el amor de gente que ni siquiera te conoce pero que sabe que fuiste parte de la orquesta más grande del mundo.

The next day, I felt a sudden sadness to see that everything was over, that we would go home. On the way, from time to time people were waiting for us to greet us with congratulatory signs. I think that was the best, receiving the love of people who don't even know you but who know that you were part of the largest orchestra in the world.

En nuestro pueblo nos dieron el mejor recibimiento que nunca nos hubiésemos esperado, lo recuerdo y siento la piel de gallina por tan bonita sorpresa, mucha gente, fuegos artificiales, abrazos y elogios de todo el pueblo. No pude haber pedido más, solo ver los brazos de mi madre abiertos mientras bajaba del autobús y escuchar de fondo el “llevo tu luz y tu aroma en mi piel…”, me dio toda la satisfacción que nunca esperé ni pedí pero que obtuve por nuestro gran logro.

In our town they gave us the best welcome that we had ever expected, I remember it and I feel goose bumps at such a beautiful surprise, many people, fireworks, hugs and praise from all the town. I couldn't have asked for more, just seeing my mother's arms open as she got off the bus and hearing in the background the "I carry your light and your scent on my skin ...", it gave me all the satisfaction that I never expected or asked for but that I got for our great achievement.

Me siento muy orgullosa de haber formado parte de la orquesta más grande del mundo y ahora siendo oficial, pues los resultados los recibimos el día sábado 20, formar parte del libro Guinnes con este récord. Fue la mejor experiencia que viví al lado de buenas personas y excelentes músicos, que tocaban todos con un mismo fin, un mismo sentir, dejar en alto a Venezuela y hacer sentir orgulloso al maestro Abreu, que aunque no presente de forma física en este plano, presente en cada uno de los corazones de los músicos que tocaron ese día.

I feel very proud to have been part of the largest orchestra in the world and now being official, since we received the results on Saturday 20, to be part of the Guinness book with this record. It was the best experience I had with good people and excellent musicians, who all played with the same purpose, the same feeling, to lift Venezuela up and make maestro Abreu feel proud, who although not physically present in this plane , present in each of the hearts of the musicians who played that day.

Sin empañar este bello post cargado de emociones con las cosas no tan buenas que se pudieron haber presentado, elijo resaltar lo bueno y apostar por los 12,097 músicos que decidieron, como yo, seguir luchando y apostando por este país.
