Ser diferentes es salirse de las normas y de la rigidez de la sociedad, y esto nos puede llevar a alcanzar el éxito.

Music envelops everything we know and even beyond what we physically see. It is a language of the heart and soul. Sometimes we hear voices that we associate with angels because of their beauty. Some people, myself included, when we hear a song, our hemispheres are activated, we become sensitive, and our emotions are “on edge.” Perhaps for this reason, we hear it later and are able to remember that moment and recreate it.
The same thing happens to us with a particular singer, band, or group. Especially when they have caused a stir or been talked about a lot. In music history, there are bands, groups, and solo artists who were milestones and emblems of a generation. They marked a before and after, giving rise to musical and cultural movements. They were also able to shake up the social structure of their time and question the system. Above all, they made people question their expectations of life.
Among them are The Beatles, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Queen and Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, and many others. Bob Marley stands out to me in this group, as I am fascinated by reggae. There are still many discrepancies and rumors surrounding this figure. Perhaps this is because everyone sees the world from their own point of view.
For me, I reject a society that thrives on stereotypes where beauty prevails, because he did not fit the mold; for this reason, he was so criticized, along with other things that are irrelevant. Even so, he managed to establish himself and achieve success.

A “baker's son,” as we Venezuelans say. However, Bob Marley dared to pursue his dreams, to confront society with his music, and to be himself without masks. For this reason, I side with Bob, who inspired and turned the world upside down. A man who did not forget his people and his roots. Imagine, friends of #Music, what it meant to raise your voice in such a rigid world. Something very difficult, because the history of humanity has been and will continue to be one of conflict.
Men have never agreed on anything, and the strongest will always try to dominate the weakest. However, there is a spark within each of us that, when ignited, cries out “Freedom.” Some manage to bring about changes in people's mindsets. Above all, with music, as it is a very important medium that reaches directly into the subconscious, and from there, great changes and movements in the history of humanity are produced.
Those who understand, understand. And I, “I only know that I know nothing,” as the Greek philosopher Socrates said. Bob Marley was a pacifist who spoke of love, peace, and freedom. Perhaps for some people in his time, he was a lifeline, as his songs gave them words of encouragement and helped them get back on their feet and continue on their way. Bob's prophetic words when he said that his music was forever. He saw the future, because today he is remembered and left us his musical legacy. Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer and songwriter. La música envuelve todo lo que conocemos y aún más allá de lo que vemos físicamente. Pues, es un idioma del corazón y del alma. A veces escuchamos voces que asociamos con los ángeles por la belleza. Algunas personas, entre las cuales me incluyo, cuando escuchamos una canción, se activan nuestros hemisferios, nos ponemos sensibles y las emociones “a flor de piel”. Quizás por esta razón la oímos después y somos capaces de recordar ese momento y recrearlo.
Igual nos sucede con un cantante, banda o grupo en particular. Sobre todo, cuando ha causado conmoción o se ha hablado mucho. En la historia musical hay bandas, grupos y solistas que fueron un hito y emblemas de una generación. Un antes y un después, dieron origen a movimientos musicales y culturales. También fueron capaces de mover la estructura social de su época y cuestionar al sistema. Sobre todo, hizo dudar al ser humano sobre sus expectativas de vida.
Entre ellos encontramos a The Beatles, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Queen y Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley y muchos otros. En este grupo me llama la atención Bob Marley, pues me fascina el reggae. Sobre este personaje todavía hay muchas discrepancias y habladurías. Quizás fue motivado a que cada quien ve el mundo desde su punto de vista.
Para mí, la sociedad que vive de estereotipos donde la belleza predomina, la rechazo, pues él no estaba dentro de los estándares; por esta razón fue tan criticado y por otras cosas que no vienen al caso. Aun así logró posicionarse y alcanzar el éxito.

Un “hijo de la panadera”, como decimos los venezolanos. Sin embargo, Bob Marley se atrevió a buscar sus sueños, a enfrentar a la sociedad con su música y ser él mismo y sin máscaras. Por esta razón, yo me quedo con el Bob, que inspiró y puso al mundo patas arriba. Un hombre que no olvidó su pueblo y sus raíces. Imagínense ustedes, amigos de #Music, lo que significaba alzar la voz en un mundo con tanta rigidez. Algo muy difícil, pues la historia de la humanidad ha sido y seguirá siendo un conflicto.
Los hombres nunca se han puesto de acuerdo y siempre el más fuerte tratará de dominar al más débil. Sin embargo, en cada uno de nosotros hay una chispa que, cuando se enciende, grita “Libertad”. Algunos logran impulsar cambios en la mentalidad de las personas. Sobre todo, con la música, pues es un medio muy importante y que llega directo al subconsciente y desde allí se producen los grandes cambios y movimientos en la historia de la humanidad.
El que entiende, entiende. Y yo, “solo sé que no sé nada”, como dijo el filósofo griego, Sócrates. Bob Marley fue un hombre pacifista que hablaba de amor, de paz y de libertad. Quizás para algunas personas en su época fue un salvavidas, pues con sus canciones les dio palabras de aliento y los ayudó a levantarse y a continuar su camino. La página www.saberesafricanos.net publicó un artículo el 6 de febrero de 2023, titulado: “¿Quién fue Bob Marley? Icono de la historia del reggae a nivel mundial”, donde expresa:
“El genio jamaicano es un símbolo que consiguió que la cultura reggae se extendiese por todo el mundo y logró, además, que las cuestiones sociales por las que luchaba tuvieran eco a través del arte y de sus composiciones…” Para más información visite aquí
Palabras proféticas de Bob, cuando dijo que su música era para siempre. Vio el futuro, porque hoy por hoy es recordado y nos dejó su legado musical. Bob Marley fue un cantante y compositor jamaicano. Music and more music
To talk about reggae is to talk about Bob Marley. This musical genre was born in the neighborhoods of Jamaica in 1960; today it is still listened to and danced to. My friend Paraulata likes this rhythm; it is very contagious. In addition to Bob, other Jamaicans also represent this rhythm, such as Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Toots Hibbert, Bob Marley, among others.
Bob was a singer who marked a milestone for a generation. Believe it or not, he managed to be a source of inspiration for many people. I repeat, I'll stick with Bob Marley and his music. His life belonged only to him, and he lived it as he wanted. Period. Paraulata, Beckyta, Mafa, and Rebeca love reggae and Bob.

Hablar de reggae es hablar de Bob Marley. Este género musical nació en los barrios de Jamaica en el año 1960; en la actualidad todavía se escucha y baila. A mi amiga Paraulata le gusta este ritmo; es muy contagioso. Además de Bob, otros jamaicanos también representan este ritmo, tales como: Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Toots Hibbert, Bob Marley, entre otros.
Bob fue cantante que marco un hito de una generación. Aunque no lo crean, el logro ser fuente de inspiración para muchas personas. Reitero, me quedo con El Bob Marley y su música. Su vida solo le pertenecía a el y la vivió como quiso. Punto y final.

Amigos de #Music todos en algún momento en la vida podemos tropezar; no significa perder, sino ganar experiencias. There are people who judge others because they don't like the way they are, the way they dress, the religion they profess, and many other things. In doing so, they waste valuable time trying to change others. I think we should find ways to entertain ourselves and let the rest of the world be and live as they wish. Friends of #Music, we only have one life; it is better to love and be at peace than to live bitter and angry with everyone.

Hay personas que juzgan a los demás porque no les gusta su manera de ser, de vestir, la religión que profesan y muchas otras cosas. En eso pierden un tiempo valioso, tratando de cambiar a otros. Creo que hay que buscar las maneras de entretenerse y que el resto del mundo sea y viva como lo desean. Bueno,también amo a Bob, su ritmo, su carisma, digna representante de los Jamaiquinos y su ritmo reggae, me hiciste mover las caderas.
Una hermosa reflexión acerca del dejar vivir a los demás sus sueños, que muy probablemente no serán parecidos a los nuestros, pero al final es lo que desearan hacer. Y aceptar a los demás independientemente de sus rasgos, gustos, color de piel, religión, entre otros, porque nosotros tampoco le caeremos bien a todo el mundo.
Promulgar, cultivar la empatía desde los cimientos del hogar, enseñar a los mas pequeños de la casa a respetar los gusto y el espacio de los demás se hace necesario para tener una buen convivencia con el prójimo. Y esos serán los grandes hombres del mañana, construyendo una mejor sociedad y mas justa.
