Every day I hear more people talking about reprogramming the mind. Is this really possible? Or is it just a fad? Even though there are certain things I don’t understand, I know that each person is the protagonist of their own life—they dream it, visualize it, and are capable of creating it. From my perspective, we must look for opportunities in everything that happens to us and surrounds us. Above all, we must maintain a positive attitude, because it doesn’t matter if the world is upside down—as long as we, on the other hand, are standing tall and focused on what we want.
Focus is key, because you can’t just shoot arrows and see who they hit. You have to look right where action is needed and not wait for luck to make it land where you want. Likewise, you must have the desire to succeed. You can’t just say, “I’ll try it and see what happens.” No, because that wastes resources and time. If you don’t change your way of thinking, I believe everything remains just dreams that are impossible to achieve.
To achieve success, goals, and dreams, you need energy—the feeling that you already have and are enjoying what you desire. Above all, you must work with perseverance and dedication. That’s right, friends of #Hive: stop shooting arrows and get ready to take on the challenge. If you need to study the market and assess the necessary conditions, then go ahead and do it! Many years ago, a man decided to plant cassava on a plot of land near the river. He planted it but didn’t harvest it because it rained, and the floodwaters washed away all the plants.
He lost his entire investment and eventually had to sell the land. Believe it or not, a local resident told him not to plant there because it was flood-prone land, but my uncle ignored the advice. They say, “He who listens to advice lives to a ripe old age.” What I’m trying to say is that there’s no point in trying to reprogram your mind, seeking out techniques, coaches, and the like, if you don’t know what you want and just keep shooting arrows into the air.
Another aspect I consider essential is to stop saying it won’t work and thinking that things won’t turn out well. I believe it’s better to do nothing, save your money, and shelve the project. Just sit there wondering if the moon is made of cheese—and not dare to try a little piece. Guys, stop holding yourselves back and putting up barriers, because that’s how you miss out on opportunities.
Ultimately, I believe that human beings must trick their minds, change the way they think, speak, and act, and learn to visualize in order to create what they desire. And to do this, it’s necessary to focus, look toward that goal, and move forward with firm steps.

Cada día escucho a más personas hablar sobre reprogramar la mente ¿será esto posible? O es un modernismo. Aun cuando hay ciertos eventos que no entiendo. Sé que cada individuo es protagonista de su vida, la sueña, la visualiza y es capaz de crearla. Desde mi punto de vista, hay que buscar oportunidad en todo lo que nos sucede y rodea. Sobre todo, tener una actitud positiva, porque no importa si el mundo está patas arriba, si por el contrario, nosotros estamos de pie y centrados en lo que queremos.
Enfocarse es un punto clave, porque no se puede tirar flechas a ver a quien le caen. Hay que mirar justo donde se requiere accionar y no esperar a tener la suerte de que caiga donde queremos. Así mismo, se debe tener las ganas de triunfar. No se puede, decir voy a intentarlo a ver qué pasa. No y no, porque se malgastan los recursos y el tiempo. Si no cambias la manera de pensar creo que todo se queda en sueños imposibles de lograr.
Para alcanzar el éxito, las metas y sueños se requiere energía, sentir que ya lo deseado se tiene y se disfruta. Sobre todo, trabajar con constancia y dedicación. Así es amigos de #Hive, dejen de tirar flechas y prepárense para asumir el reto. Si se requiere estudiar el mercado y evaluar las condiciones necesarias. Pues, ¡Háganlo! Hace muchos años un tío decidió sembrar yuca en un terreno cerca del río, sembró pero no cosecho porque llovió y la crecida se llevó todas las plantas.
Perdió toda su inversión y al final tuvo que vender el terreno. Aunque no lo crean, un habitante de la zona le dijo que no sembrara en ese lugar, porque era un terreno inundable y mi tío no le hizo caso al consejo. Dicen por ahí: “El escucha consejos llega a viejo”. Con esto quiero expresarles, que de nada vale querer reprogramar la mente, buscar técnicas, coach y otros, si no se sabe lo que se quiere y se la pasan lanzando flechas al aire.
Otro aspecto que considero fundamental es dejar de decir que no va a funcionar y de pensar que las cosas no van a salir bien. Creo, que es preferible que no haga nada, ahorre el dinero y guarde el proyecto. Siga sentado preguntándose si la luna es de queso. Y no se atreve a probar un pedacito. Hivers, dejen de bloquearse y ponerse ustedes mismos trabas, porque así se pierden las oportunidades.
En definitiva, considero que el ser humano debe engañar a la mente, cambiar la manera de pensar, de hablar, de actuar y aprender a visualizar para crear lo que se desea. Y para esto es necesario enfocarse, mirar hacia ese punto, moverse y avanzar con pasos firmes.

Notably, 64 years ago, on April 27, 1961, Rebeca was born.
I love the green of the foliage, the scent of mastranto that reminds me of my days as a college student. I also love the flower buds; to me, they symbolize renewal, movement, and new beginnings. Above all, because they remind us that life is fragile and fleeting. Today is an important day for Catholics, as it is the Feast of the Nazarene, a time for renewing one’s faith.

Primer día del abril, espero que no sea tan convulsionado como el mes de marzo. En mi país comienzan las plantas a florecer, a revolotear las mariposas y es temporada de ciruelas. En la historia de la humanidad ocurrieron hechos importantes que se conmemoran este mes, tales como: Creación de la O.M.S en el año 1948, muerte de Martin Luther King, se presenta la vacuna contra la poliomielitis, entre otros. Destacando que hace 64 años, el 27 de abril del año 1961 nació Rebeca.
Amo el verde del follaje, el olor a mastranto que me recuerda mis días de estudiante en la universidad. También los capullos de las flores, para mi significa renovación, movimiento y nuevos comienzos. Sobre todo, porque nos recuerda que la vida es vulnerable y efímera. Hoy es un día importante para los católicos, pues es día del Nazareno, es época de renovación de la fe.

In Panama, this phrase is used when someone takes a leap of faith, trying their luck to see what happens. It could mean dropping a hint, asking someone out, sending a somewhat risky message, or suggesting something without having any idea if it will work. It’s like shooting an arrow into the air, hoping that, with any luck, it will hit the mark.
En Panamá se usa para cuando alguien se lanza sin mucha seguridad, probando suerte a ver qué cae. Puede ser tirar una indirecta, invitar a alguien, mandar un mensaje medio arriesgado o proponer algo sin tener idea de si va a funcionar. Es Como disparar al aire esperando que, con suerte, alguna flecha pegue donde uno quiere.
He who listens to advice lives to a ripe old age: A saying that encourages us to listen to the advice of people who always have our best interests at heart. People who have lived through experiences, whether positive or negative. For the most part, when these people speak to us, they’re trying to help you and me avoid making the same mistakes they made.
El que escucha consejos, llega a viejo: Un refrán que se basa en aprender a escuchar la opinión de personas que siempre quieren lo mejor para nosotros/as. Personas que experiencias vividas, ya sean positivas o negativas. Estas personas, en su mayoría, al momento de hablarnos, intentan que tú y yo no cometamos los mismos errores que ellos/as cometieron.
