Desde niña me han interesado todo lo relacionado con los Dinosaurios, leía cualquier libro sobre estas criaturas que poblaron la tierra hace millones de años y que gobernaron la tierra durante más de 160 millones de años, los hubo de muchos tamaños y formas, convivieron con otros tipos de animales prehistóricos. Mi Dinosaurio favorito es Tyrannosaurus , el má grande carnívoro y temible de todos.

Since I was a child I have been interested in everything related to Dinosaurs, I read any book about these creatures that populated the earth millions of years ago and that ruled the earth for more than 160 million years, there were many sizes and shapes, they lived with others types of prehistoric animals My favorite Dinosaur is Tyrannosaurus, the biggest carnivore and fearsome of all.

Recuerdo que cuando estaba embarazada de mi hija Raquel, estaba de moda en mi país la película Parque Jurásico 2 y estaban estrenando por la televisión Parque Jurásico 1, la cual considero como la mejor de todas. Teniendo Raquel meses de nacida fuimos a un viaje a la ciudad de Mérida y en uno de los paseos por la ciudad fuimos a un museo donde había modelos de dinosaurios a escala real e incluso estructuras de huesos de madera y osamentas de algunos animales prehistóricos conseguidos en tierras venezolanas, estando allí compre este libro que ahora reseño.

I remember that when I was pregnant with my daughter Raquel, the movie Jurassic Park 2 was fashionable in my country and Jurassic Park 1 was premiered on television, which I consider the best of all. Raquel being months old, we went on a trip to the city of Mérida and on one of the walks around the city we went to a museum where there were real-scale models of dinosaurs and even wooden bone structures and skeletons of some prehistoric animals obtained in Venezuelan lands, while there I bought this book that I am now reviewing.

El libro Dinosaurios de la A a la Z , es un diccionario escrito por el doctor Michael Benton quien es un profesor de paleontología vertebral en el Departamento de Ciencias de la Tierra de la Universidad de Bristol en el Reino Unido. Este diccionario ofrece información detallada y muy amena de más de doscientas criaturas prehistóricas, donde no faltan el Tiranosaurio Rex, el Velociraptor, el Diplodocus, el Melanosaurio, el Triseraptop y muchos más que aparecieron en la película y que formaron parte de aquella época cuando los dinosaurios dominaban el mundo.

The Dinosaurs from A to Z book is a dictionary written by Dr. Michael Benton who is a professor of vertebral paleontology in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol in the UK. This dictionary offers detailed and very entertaining information on more than two hundred prehistoric creatures, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Velociraptor, the Diplodocus, the Melanosaurus, the Triseraptop and many more that appeared in the film and that were part of that time when the dinosaurs ruled the world.

Es un diccionario de la editorial Larousse, 1997, está bellamente ilustrado y su lectura es muy simple, ideal para los niños. Este diccionario tiene un valor sentimental para mí ya que me recuerda a mi hija, pero su lectura es muy interesante y por eso lo recomiendo ampliamente, esta obra nos permite tener información rápida sobre algún animal prehistórico que nos interese saber sobre él o para despertar la curiosidad de los niños sobre estas fascinantes criaturas.

It is a dictionary from the Larousse publishing house, 1997, it is beautifully illustrated and its reading is very simple, ideal for children. This dictionary has sentimental value for me since it reminds me of my daughter, but reading it is very interesting and that is why I highly recommend it, this work allows us to have quick information about a prehistoric animal that we are interested in knowing about it or to awaken the children's curiosity about these fascinating creatures.
